eSIM Prime eSIM Data Plans for India

eSIM Prime does not currently offer an unlimited data eSIM for India. All of its plans listed for India have a fixed data cap, ranging from 1GB to 20GB, and are valid for 1 week to 1 month, with prices from $3.99 to $52.99 USD.

If a traveler needs a larger data allowance, they can choose from the fixed data plans available. For example, the India 20GB 1 month plan and the India 10GB 1 month plan are both valid for 30 days and provide coverage on 4G, 5G, and LTE networks. These paid plans may be more economical for most users than purchasing individually limited packages, especially for those who do not consume extremely high volumes of data.

eSIM Prime does not provide an India eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are offered for India, so travelers cannot receive a local number for calls or texts through the device. However, VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage can be used over the data connection to make calls and send messages without needing an SMS-enabled phone number.
