Installed the esim per instructions. Even at the Manas airport i already could NOT connect to the data/service. So i tried activating the esim in the Global Yo app (it is supposed to be automatically activated once I could connect but since I could not connect I thought I would need to activate it manually). Then I tried restarting my phone too but that didn’t work either.
It’s been a few hours and I’ve obviously left the airport now. Even within the city and town there is no service. Only managing to post this review using the guesthouse wifi.
Why sell a product that does not work, and customer service is not 24-7 available to help? I hope when Global Yo does reply I will be in a location that has wifi access to be able to read their reply.
In Kyrgyz Republic, there are more than 90 travel eSIM providers and more than 2800 prepaid data plans available. The sheer volume of plans offers travelers a wide variety of options, making it easy to find an eSIM that suits their needs.
Unlimited data eSIM options are available for travelers visiting the Kyrgyz Republic. Providers that offer such plans include Yoho Mobile, Roamify, abesteSIM, and Yesim, each covering a validity period of 1 to 30 days. While the data is advertised as unlimited, some plans specify speed limits or throttling: Yoho Mobile and abesteSIM set a maximum speed of 5 Mbps, and all plans indicate potential throttling after high‑usage periods. The overall price range across these options starts at roughly $4.48 USD with Yoho Mobile and can go up to about $449.07 USD for the most expansive Yoho package, while Roamify, abesteSIM, and Yesim provide plans between $5.00 and $64.47 USD. Travelers should choose a plan that matches their anticipated data use and preferred network speeds.
