Hungry eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Mauritania

Hungry eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data plan for Mauritania. The plans marketed with “Unlimited” in their names are actually capped at daily data limits ranging from 1 GB to 10 GB, after which the connection speed drops to 1 Mbps or 384 kbps. The listed data amount is a hard cap and the speed is throttled once the daily threshold is reached.

For travelers who need more data without the daily throttling, Hungry eSIM offers fixed‑data plans. Examples include a 30‑day / 20 GB bundle at $261.70 USD, a 30‑day / 10 GB bundle at $127.36 USD, and a smaller 30‑day / 5 GB bundle at $69.78 USD. These plans provide a larger overall data allowance with no daily caps, though each plan has a set validity period.

Hungry eSIM does not offer any Mauritania plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers must purchase a data‑only eSIM plan.

If you need to make calls or send messages, you can use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. Keep in mind that some destinations block or restrict specific apps or VoIP services, so it’s wise to confirm that the apps you rely on are accessible in Mauritania before buying a plan.

Hungry eSIM offers ten single‑country data plans for Mauritania, with no multi‑country options available. The plans provide between 1 GB and 20 GB of data, and the prices range from $15.70 up to $261.70. Some plans include reduced speed options at 1000 kbps or 384 kbps, while all plans are fixed‑amount data packages that remain valid for 1 to 30 days.
