Yaalo eSIM Data Plans for East Asia

Yaalo’s East Asia plans that carry the “Unlimited” name do not provide unlimited high‑speed data. Each of those plans supplies 1GB per day or 2GB per day at 5G, after which the speed falls to the indicated reduced level – 512kbps for the 1GB/day plans and 2000kbps for the 2GB/day plans. Because the data cap is finite, these are not true unlimited plans.

Travelers who need a larger, fixed data allowance can instead choose Yaalo’s fixed‑data eSIMs, such as the 100GB eSIM data for 30 days available for East Asia or the 100GB eSIM data for 180 days. These plans provide a fixed high‑speed data amount without a daily cap and do not trigger a speed reduction. Yaalo offers these as alternatives for users who expect heavy data usage.

Yaalo does not currently provide East Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The available East Asia eSIMs are data‑only, offering high‑speed internet without voice or text services.

Travelers can use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages without needing a local phone number or SMS service.

Yaalo’s eSIM plans that are marketed for East Asia include coverage in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Macau, and Mongolia.
