Tourist eSIM does not provide truly unlimited high‑speed data in Oceania. All plans listed under the “Unlimited Data” name contain a fixed data allowance, such as 2GB for a single day or 3GB per day for multi‑day packages, and after the cap is reached the speed is throttled to 2000kbps or 1000kbps.

If a traveler needs a more extensive data supply, Tourist eSIM offers fixed‑data plans such as 100 GB for 31 days or 100 GB for 180 days, which can cover extended stays or heavier usage without the speed reduction that applies to the so‑called unlimited plans.

Tourist eSIM does not provide any eSIM plan for Oceania that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are offered for that region, so travelers will need to rely on internet usage. Over a data connection, VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage can be used for voice and text communication.

The “Oceania (8+ countries)” plan covers Australia, Fiji, Nauru, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Vanuatu and Samoa. The “Global (170+ countries)” and “Global (196+ countries)” plans also include Australia, Fiji, New Zealand and, in the case of the 196‑country version, Papua New Guinea, Tonga and Samoa. The “Global (106+ countries)” plan covers Australia, New Zealand and Guam, while the “Global (107+ countries)” plan adds French Polynesia. Across all Tourist eSIM plans that list Oceania, the covered countries are Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Vanuatu, Samoa, Guam and French Polynesia.
