Wiiline eSIM Data Plans for Senegal

Wiiline does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Senegal. The plans that include “Unlimited” in their names actually grant 2GB per day of high‑speed data; once that daily allowance is reached the connection is throttled to 1 Mbps. This is not a hard unlimited data offer.

For travelers to Senegal, Wiiline offers fixed data plans instead. Examples include the Global 101 Countries plan with 100 GB for 30 days (priced at $125 USD) and the Global 101 Countries plan with 50 GB for 30 days (priced at $75 USD). These plans give a set amount of high‑speed data that must be used within the validity period and may be more cost‑effective for most users.

Wiiline does not offer a Senegal eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can purchase only data‑only eSIM plans for use in Senegal. Mobile calls and messages can instead be made over the data connection using VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to these services, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you rely on are accessible while you are in Senegal before buying a plan.

Wiiline offers a total of 82 plans that include Senegal. Seven of those plans cover only Senegal, while the remaining 75 are multi‑country packages that also include Senegal. Prices range from about $5.00 to $274.81, and data volumes range from 490 MB to 100 GB, with validity periods from 1 to 180 days. The provider offers both fixed‑data‑cap plans, where a set amount of data is available for the entire validity period, and daily‑data‑cap plans, where a specified amount of data is refreshed each day. Some of the packages allow tethering and include reduced‑speed options of 512 kbps, 2000 kbps, or 1000 kbps.
