Hello, I bought an eSIM for the Seychelles and it's not working. They are unreachable on their help site! I had to send 6 or 7 messages without any response! They know how to cash in but not refund or send a new QR code to troubleshoot... absolutely terrible after-sales service 👎 don't go with them, total scam!! And one star because I'm obligated to give at least that. Real scammers! They don't refund anything on top of that.
I will not use this eSIM provider any more, and wouldn’t recommend it. I bought 3GB for 14 days, but was able to use it only for 1 day, because Internet connection was not available even though all configuration was correct.
Currently, Seychelles is supported by over sixty travel eSIM brands (providers), with a selection of over nine hundred prepaid data plans available. This represents a wide variety of options, making it easy for travelers to find an eSIM that suits their needs.
Currently, Firsty and Truely offer unlimited data eSIM plans for Seychelles. Please be aware that these plans may include speed throttling or limitations, with Firsty plans potentially restricted to speeds of 256kbps. Pricing for these unlimited data options ranges from approximately $0.00 to $112.86 USD, depending on the validity period and provider. Travelers should consider their anticipated data usage for activities like browsing, social media, and streaming when selecting a plan to ensure a suitable experience.
In Seychelles, the primary Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) are:
Cable & Wireless Seychelles: Offers a comprehensive range of mobile services, including 4G and 5G connectivity, with extensive coverage across the main islands.
Airtel Seychelles: Provides a variety of mobile services, including 4G connectivity, and holds a significant share of the mobile market in the country.
Additionally, there are local Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) in Seychelles that offer mobile services by leasing access from major carriers. These MVNOs often provide niche services or cater to specific customer segments. However, most travel eSIMs rely on the infrastructure of the primary MNOs rather than MVNOs.
