CloudOn eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Afghanistan

CloudOn eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data plan for Afghanistan. The plans that carry “unlimited” in their name give a fixed 2 GB per day high‑speed allowance, after which the speed drops to 1 Mbps. Travelers who need a higher data volume can choose a fixed data plan instead, such as the 50 GB plan with a 30‑day validity or the 20 GB plan with a 30‑day validity, which offer larger data allowances at a set price. These alternatives are suitable for most travelers and can be more cost‑effective unless one requires unlimited high‑speed data.

CloudOn eSIM does not provide Afghanistan eSIMs that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available for Afghanistan from this provider.

Travelers who need to make calls or send messages can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection. Some destinations may block or restrict certain apps or VoIP services, so it is advisable to verify that the apps you rely on are accessible in Afghanistan before purchasing a data‑only plan.

CloudOn eSIM offers 16 single‑country data plans for Afghanistan, with no multi‑country options available. The plans vary in price from $8.49 to $273.99 and in data cap from 1 GB to 50 GB. Among these, six plans provide a daily data cap, allowing a set amount of data each day, while ten plans offer a fixed data cap that is available for the entire validity period. The validity of the plans ranges from 3 to 30 days, and some plans may include a reduced speed option of 1000 kbps.
