“I tried to start with the free offer, but it was not possible. It asked for credit card, then charged me in Zloty and credit back in USD. This means I paid commissions to the credit card company on exchange rates. Than, it forces you to follow on both Instagram and TikTok, but the worst thing - they never approved my request.
I ended up with another eSIM.”
“The company uses deceptive tactics. Do NOT trust them.
Throughout the eSIM ordering process, they do everything they can to get you to subscribe to their antivirus and protection service. I noticed this and deliberately unchecked the option, yet I was still subscribed. The first week is free, so you aren't charged right away.
When I tried to unsubscribe, the option wasn't available. The unsubscribe button only becomes active after 24 hours. Fortunately, their support team responded quickly and canceled the subscription after I emailed them.
However, this is completely unacceptable. I shouldn't have to waste my time on something I never asked for. I won't be buying any eSIMs from this provider again.”

“Esim did not work. My friend had the same experience with a different phone. Communication with helpdesk is difficult. After 10 emails and lots of screenshots and following all kinds of instructions the problem is still not fixed. They keep on asking screenshots of screens I already shared and refuse to refund.

“Bought Stellar Security's Thailand 20GB/30-day eSIM. It installed but never connected or gave me data. I tried different locations, manual network selection and a restart. On 27 August, support confirmed in writing that the eSIM had not started a data session. They said my refund request was referred for review, but never sent the decision. When I followed up, I got repeated copy-paste refusals saying the QR code was delivered, with examples of an eSIM not installed or the wrong destination. Neither applies to me. I asked for a technical review and got the same template again, with no session-log evidence. EUR 5.59 isn't a lot, but I paid for data I couldn't use and still have no refund.”
“I have bought this esim, not the cheapest but 20GB/30 days plan for my son. The performance is pathetic, barely usable at all. Works only now and then, often struggling to connect, extremely slow even when connected. Customer support zero, they claim response in few hours, byt none received in a day. Waste of money. Waste of time that should had been spent enjoying holidays, rather than dealing with poor quality service provider.”

Po 1 - wybierając eSIM w ukryty sposób dają Ci jakąś subskrypcję ochrony, za którą płacisz 0,50€, jeśli nie napiszesz i nie anulujesz tego to płacisz bez końca. Po 2 jeśli klikniesz automatyczne doładowanie to zrobią Ci je praktycznie od razu - niby po zużyciu 50%. Tak więc biorąc 3GB, nagle nasz 6GB, a wykorzystasz tylko 2GB.
Po 3 - automatycznie dopisują Cię do newslettera i dostajesz tonę spamu. Nie polecam. Lepiej wybrać coś innego.”
“This was a very disappointing experience. I purchased an eSIM from StellarSecurity, but it could not be activated, leaving me without service and out of pocket.
What made the situation worse was the customer service. They provided no effective solution and were unwilling to properly resolve the issue or refund my money.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against purchasing an eSIM from StellarSecurity. They literally steal from you.”
“Watch out for FRAUDULENT practices:
When you buy an eSIM, they just add an antivirus subscription to your order! That means: long after you’re done using the eSIM, you’ll still be paying for that antivirus subscription!!
At checkout, they add that subscription which you obviously didn’t want, and even if you notice it and click that “No thanks”-button, they’ll still add it and it will appear on your order.
So, if you never spot that €0.99 charge every week on your credit card bill, you’ll be paying it for years and years…”

I placed an order in the evening just to buy an eSIM for Italy. Without clear transparency, Stellar Security automatically added a "Stellar Travel Protection" subscription to my cart. Then, at 3:00 AM, an unexpected separate charge of €0.49 was processed on my card for this protection, with a scheduled recurring monthly bill of €1.39 to follow.
To make matters worse, when I logged into my account to cancel it, the dashboard displayed "0 Active Subscriptions," making it impossible to cancel through their interface. On top of that, their email login verification code failed to arrive promptly.
Charging customers' cards hours after checkout for unwanted subscriptions while hiding them from the account management panel is completely unacceptable. Beware of hidden fees and check your bank statements carefully!”
“The eSIM only connects to EDGE in Serbia, making mobile internet practically unusable. Sometimes the connection disappears completely for hours.
I followed all the troubleshooting steps suggested by support, but nothing changed. The support team keeps asking me to repeat the same basic steps instead of actually solving the problem.
Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this service.”
“The SIM card works only with “Türk Telekom” and “Vodafone Turkey” networks. During the day, the internet speed was good, around 20 Mb/s, but every day after 6:00 p.m., the speed dropped to 1–2 Mb/s. This was very frustrating, and sometimes web pages wouldn’t even load. In my opinion, this isn’t the fault of the eSIM provider, but rather “Türk Telekom.” The solution to this problem is to manually select “Vodafone Turkey” towers on your phone. On Vodafone towers, the internet works reliably at all times.
You must install the eSIM before arriving in Turkey; otherwise, you won’t be able to do it. Turkey blocks eSIM installation. This applies to every carrier.”

“Not working. I bought their esim 2 days ago. Emailed them about my issues. Support got back to me actually quickly. I got a 'replacement esim' that one worked for less than 15 minutes. The support person escalated the issue and I'm still waiting for their reply.”
“I hired a 10 day plan with 7 GB. It stopped working after about 12 hours (just when I needed to get an Uber in not the safest place of town) and only 300 MB of consumption. Never received an email with the confirmation of purchase, so I can't even get a refund because I lost my transaction number. Do not buy, it's a scam”
“Decent speeds in all the tourist areas. Ping increase not too bad as traffic is routed through the Netherlands where traffic needs to go to for EU Servers anyways. Underlying provider is TIM Italy. Coverage outside of settlements/cities is low but thats outside of Jambos control.”

“ESIM.DOG's North America eSIM (AT&T USA/Freedom Mobile Canada) automatically connects to other networks as well (Verizon, T-Mobile, Bell, Rogers, and TELUS) while not transmitting data. Manual network selection is necessary. Support leads you in circles. Freedom Mobile has very limited coverage outside major cities.”
“Do not use them. They charge you extra fees (€1.49) you never agree to pay and sign you up for a subscription you never agreed to buy. They claim it’s a travel insurance. When you contact them the don’t refund you. Scammers”
“I cannot recommend this provider.
My purchase confirmation email contained the complete eSIM activation QR code and activation details, but it was also CC'd to a personal Gmail address (praveenasaravanan95 -at- gmail dot com). As far as I can tell, anyone receiving that email also receives everything needed to install the eSIM. I reported this as a potential security issue and repeatedly asked to speak with a human, but only received AI-generated replies. My request for a human representative was ignored.
In addition, there is no purchase history or data usage information available in my account, so I have no way of verifying how much data remains on the eSIM.
Although the eSIM does connect and appears to work, the lack of transparency and the apparent disregard for a legitimate security concern mean I cannot recommend GigaTel.”
“Very disappointed with my experience with Giga.tel. I purchased an eSIM, but during the very first installation attempt on my iPhone 13, the QR code displayed the message, “This code is no longer valid.” However, the eSIM had never been installed or used.
I contacted customer support to request reactivation or a new QR code, but I received no response despite following up several times.
Technical issues can happen, but the lack of response from customer service is very disappointing, especially for a service where line activation is essential.
I hope a solution will be provided quickly.”

I think to remember that there was a 10GB calendar day limit of high speed data after which the speed was throttled but still at a very useful 5-6mbit/s. When I tried to get help, I spent over 30 minutes chatting with an AI bot that never resolved the issue or connected me to a human representative. The end result was simple: no data, no solution, and no refund. Very disappointing experience.”

However, Only 4G speed was experienced, even in Paris and other big cities. Voice phone call call can be made in first 20 days, then you requested to register to Orange to continue to make phone calls, but orange registration page always hung, you could not register. I opened two tickets, but have not got any help.”

“The esim caused 2 APNs to be set up. The default APN Orange did not work with Rogers in Canada. Selecting the second APN nju got the mobile data going.
Internet breakout was in Poland. There was a noticeable but acceptable delay.”

“Had a great experience with Ozly in Japan. The eSIM had trouble connecting at first but eventually succeeded after some fiddling in the phone settings (the provider's AI chatbot actually gave me a helpful tip). Got a local IP so no geoblocking. Speed was satisfactory and I got signal in every city I visited (Tokyo, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Sapporo and a few smaller ones) except in one rural area in Chiba-ken. For the price I paid, it was an incredible deal.”

“I previously left a negative review, but after trying this eSIM again for my trip to Turkey, I want to update my opinion.
The connection worked perfectly during the whole trip — stable, fast internet with no issues at all. The price was also very low compared to other providers, which was a nice surprise.
The only issue I had was that the QR code was not sent automatically to my email after purchase because I used the express checkout option without registration. The website chat didn’t work, and it was very difficult to even find their support email since the site doesn’t clearly show any contact information. However, after I contacted them by email, support quickly sent me the QR code and everything worked fine after that.
Overall, a much better experience this time. Good speeds, reliable service, and great pricing for Turkey.”

A setup using the MTC network really would be the best option as it was much more widespread network.”
“This eSİM claims to roam with 2 Turkish networks, which was my reason to buy. This is not true. Like many other travel eSİMs, it connects to Avea/TT only. Turkcell, although mentioned as a roaming partner, does not connect, says "not allowed"
I contacted support, but they behave as if they do not understand. Final recommendation, after a couple of emails, was to just set the phone to automatic selection. Hey!”
“Title: WARNING: 100GB Plan Blocked After 25GB Use – Stay Away
I purchased Airhub's 100GB plan specifically for its advertised data allowance. However, after using only ~25GB in a few days (only 25% of the plan), the service was permanently blocked.
I spent 11 days emailing support, only for them to finally admit:
"Please note that your eSIM has been temporarily suspended due to abnormal data usage within a very short period of time, as detected by the network. This action is taken automatically to prevent unusual or excessive usage."
Selling a 100GB plan and then blocking it for "abnormal usage" at 25GB is deceptive. They have refused to reactivate the line or offer any refund for the 75GB of data I never received. Do not trust their advertised data limits. ”
“I noticed that the pay-as-you-go option does not appear in the plan listings on esimdb, which caught my attention a little. After actually using it, I personally feel this is the most convenient option.
Because it is fully usage based, you can keep using it seamlessly even when moving between countries, which is incredibly convenient. With cheaper flight tickets, long layovers at airports in China are common, and sometimes you may want to head into the city for a short while. In those situations, it feels a bit wasteful to purchase a one day plan or a large data package, so this option fits perfectly.
Airport WiFi is available, of course, but connections can be unstable, and SMS verification is sometimes required, which often makes it more troublesome than expected. That is why having the reassurance of being able to connect immediately on your own mobile line, even during immigration, feels very valuable.
Overseas roaming is also available with ahamo and Rakuten Mobile, but there are still countries that are not covered. Having this set up as a dual SIM feels like something that could really help in an emergency. I also appreciate that LINE and WhatsApp continue to work even after the main data allowance has been used up. It is a small detail, but genuinely useful.”
“I selected their best coverage plan for 10 GB and I had no coverage at all. I failed to set up at the airport, in the taxi. Then I connected for a while at the hotel beach, but I could not connect anymore again. Total waste of money, they refused to refund because I used 64 MB of data already. Then I purchased Yesim 1 GB and had the coverage immediately.”

Here's my experience: In Uzbekistan, everything worked perfectly for one day, but the speed was terrible on the second day. In South Korea, everything worked well, but in China, everything worked well for two days, and then the internet simply disappeared, even though I still had plenty of data and time left. There is no support, and the AI agent responds by saying that I am doing something wrong.”

I bought a voice+data esim for my travel to the States, but after activation I had issues with the data, despite voice calls and SMS working well.
I contacted the customer support team via Whatsapp who were very responsive and issued me an additional data-only esim (1GB) until they could resolve the issue with the original one.
The team was very supposed and solved all my issues and did not leave me hanging while I am traveling and need the data connection at all times.

“I bought it for my short trip in Kazakhstan and got great experience due to routing in United Kingdom (most of eSIM providers use Singapore routing that is really slow in Kazakhstan). On LTE I've got 50-100 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload speed.
So I definitely recommend buying this one for Kazakhstan to get stable connection without issues.”
“Hello, I purchased an unlimited data eSIM from esim.dog for my 5-day Umrah trip to Mecca, and it was a terrible experience from start to finish. Despite the signal being strong, the internet speed never exceeded 200kbps, making it impossible to browse.
I am aware that Saudi Arabia has certain internet restrictions, and I even used a paid VPN service to try and fix the issue. After switching between multiple countries on my VPN, I was barely able to use WhatsApp for texting. Web pages wouldn’t load even after refreshing 2-3 times, and images were non-existent. Without a VPN, I couldn't even access local Saudi flight or train booking sites. This was easily the worst eSIM service I have ever used. Think twice before buying.”

“I have used Airalo in about 20 countries and I was quite satisfied mostly. In Mexico though, they are useless unless you stay in the biggest cities. They connect to Movistar network in there and if you plan to travel around, it is absolutely useless with no coverage in most places where other providers have a good signal. ”
