Wifio is a hidden gem in the eSIM jungle!
I had a great experience, the connection was exactly as promised: extremely fast, stable, and truly unlimited.
I ended up staying in Switzerland longer than planned, and extending the eSIM was super easy. Amazing support and overall experience. I’ll definitely book with Wifio again!
Throttled to 12 mbps. Otherwise perfect connection and excellent price.
Be careful, can be a scam. Ordered SIM card at 06.34 LT, and get a mail that order received. No any eSIM been send in next 2 hours. No mail reply as well. Contacts only be mail.
After a satisfied test in 2024 with Yesim in Turkey, it was clear to me to go for an eSIM from Yesim also during my vacation in 2025.
Activation is super easy, it is even possible to buy it in advance and activate it at a later time (for example, when the vacation starts). Deferred activation. Very convenient.
I was curious about the connection speed in 2025 and was amazed at how fast the Internet was with Türk Telekom.
In 2025 the download speed was between 30 and 50 Mbps and the upload was super high above 90 Mbps.
The network was 4G/ LTE+ - since 5G is almost not yet built out in Turkey (only in and around Istanbul and certain soccer stadiums)
You get a Polish IP address with Yesim (Polish provider Plus) which gives the advantage of being able to access/view/use all apps and websites without problems (Geoblock/Countryblock)
Very satisfied with Yesim and will use this app again in the future.
Turkish Riviera - Antalya - Belek
15GB Option used.
Used: May/June 2025
At first i need to set up apn settings then after that i used it and excellent, no problem, fast 5G connection.
Good! The processing speed is pretty good and it is much easier than going to a physical store to buy a card.
I’ve used Billion Connect for multiple eSims abroad now, and I’ve found them great every time. Their customer service responds pretty quickly to any issues, and the sims are cheap and work well. Be aware the sims are mostly based in Hong Kong so if you’re geographically far from there the latency might be a little high, and you may need a VPN for things like TikTok to work, but I’ve had very few issues.
In terms of speed it wasn’t particularly fast or slow, just average. The connection was mostly through SIMBA, but in some locations it switched to StarHub. The biggest drawback was that, since it was roaming via Hong Kong, I couldn’t use ChatGPT.
The sim worked fine, but be aware that Yoho count their days as 00:00-23:59, so if you buy a sim in the afternoon or evening, the last few hours of that purchase day will count as 1 day. I was cut off nearly a full day early because I bought it in the evening.
Do not buy the Clearance esim. It's not mentioned on the website, but it's routed through Hong Kong. The connection is very bad and 5G seems capped at slow speeds. I had issues keeping a consistent connection and ended up buying a MobiMatter esim that has worked flawlessly.
The product claimed to support multiple carriers, so I decided to try out the "eSIM, 3GB, 30 Days, Japan" for use in Japan.
It seems the APN "vmobile.jp" (iij) can be used, but... is this really multi-carrier?
As a UK resident travelling to the US for family visits and tourism, I purchased the 15-day unlimited data plan from iRoamly. To My surprise, it genuinely offered unlimited usage the only minor issue was slight initial connection latency (possibly due to roaming handover). As a heavy user of YT and TT with high data demands, this plan exceeded my expectations. Having visited the US multiple times, this is the first truly reliable unlimited eSIM I've encountered. Highly recommended!!
I have used USA eSIM a number of times for myself and family travelling to the US. Great customer service via email and T-Mobile coverage for both data and calls is reliable. Also allows for wifi connectivity on some US airlines, when flying in the US, which I found very handy on the American Airlines and Alaska Airline flights I took.
I suggest setting the eSIM activation to occur prior to your departure where you have access to Wifi/mobile data, to allow activation to successfully occur, or connect to wifi at your destination prior to attempting to activate your eSIM.
At the end it's scam. The support section in the app has no function. The unlimited sim gets blocked after 10GB of usage. It's waste of money. No reaction no nothing. Just don't buy it.
**BE WARNED**
Was about to purchase x3 eSIMs for USA when I saw this.
"Please note that TikTok, ChatGPT, and Gemini are not supported with this eSIM."
It states this for ALL their USA eSIMs.
I looked up Australia & France and there doesn't seem to have the same restrictions. Hong Kong doesn't, however they use CSL which I've used before and they restrict access to Western TikTok
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Attractive prices, easy to install and fast speed internet. Worked straight away
Very good but Polish IP so I had to use a VPN for some functions.
Beware: 1) No call/text available in South Korea. 2) Routed via HK so not the best service due to latency, but the same as most competitors in SK for eSIM. 3) Weird discrepancy on their website about price in USD vs charged amount ($1.00 USD more is charged than shown online). How do I know? I bought 3 eSIMs from Giga.Tel in South Korea, and over 10 from eSIM competitors. So far they are still the cheapest for the same 30GB and quality of service. Plus you can checkout with American Express in case of a dispute (MobiMatter does not allow Amex)
Used the Turkey eSIM right after landing in Istanbul. Had great connection during the bus ride to Cappadocia, could work and even stream movies without issues. Was great choice for me and will continue to use.
I recently purchased a premium eSIM plan from Yoho Mobile, expecting reliable service during my travels. Unfortunately, the experience was consistently disappointing across two different countries: the United Kingdom and Israel.
Connectivity Issues: The internet connection was highly unstable in both countries. While it occasionally worked, it would frequently drop without warning. More critically, VoIP services were virtually unusable. Calls via VoIP.ms would initiate but drop immediately, and WhatsApp calls would connect briefly before losing connection.
Device Compatibility: I tested the eSIM on two different devices—my Samsung S24 and my wife's Pixel 9—both experienced identical issues, indicating the problem was not device-specific.
Server Location Concerns: It appears that Yoho Mobile routes its traffic through servers in Hong Kong. This routing caused additional complications, as certain AI services and applications are restricted or blocked in that region. Without a VPN, many essential apps were inaccessible.
Unexpected Discrepancy in Reviews: What puzzles me is the overwhelmingly positive reviews Yoho Mobile has received on platforms like Trustpilot, boasting a 4.7 rating. Given my experience, I find it hard to reconcile such high ratings with the service I encountered. It's surprising that a company providing this level of service maintains such a high rating, especially when most providers in this sector have more moderate reviews.
Resolution: Out of necessity, I switched to another eSIM provider. The difference was immediate and stark—stable internet connectivity and fully functional VoIP services without the need for a VPN.
Conclusion: Despite positive reviews I encountered during my research, my experience with Yoho Mobile was overwhelmingly negative. The combination of unreliable connectivity, server-related restrictions, and the discrepancy between advertised and actual service quality makes it difficult to recommend their services.

They wrote about free test offer 250MB - but it is not true, they didn't give me this free 250MB
Do not use this provider! I have used several esims but this one is not working, only at very low speeds. Contacted customer support. React very slow and could not resolve. After a lot of complaints agreed to refund. Took 3 weeks to refund. they only processed refund after 3 weeks when complaining again. Do not recommend. Not worth the money. Even 1 star is too much
Unfortunately Global eSIM is not working 98% of the time. Only 3G and nothing loads.
Very bad.
On advertising been mentioned 2 days unlimited for 0 USD for new signers. After you collect my data and sign up, price goes to 7 USD. . 👎
As soon as I land in a new country, it’s just a few simple steps to activate the eSIM—and I’m instantly connected!
The connection is way more stable than my original telco’s roaming, and best of all—no more swapping SIM cards or re-adding eSIMs every time I travel.
Definitely a game-changer for frequent travellers like me! 😊🌍
Supera link functioned perfectly for me in Singapore when i visited last march, providing 5G coverage across the whole city on the local du network
But when visiting smaller island nations, you might find that the local networks have limitations. It's worth thinking about how internet access is provided to these little islands
I used this eSIM for a recent trip to the US, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. As a first-time eSIM user, I was a bit nervous about the setup, but installation was incredibly easy and straightforward. The connection was super fast and reliable the entire time. I’m already planning to use them again for my upcoming trip to Thailand. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good and simple solution!
It seems the roaming provider has changed from Singtel to KPN. As a result, data now routes through the Netherlands, thus higher latency than before (200+ms). It connects to Smart network. There were several occasions when the signal dropped to "E" (Edge), and data could not be used. This might be due to local coverage issues. The latency is still manageable, but the occasional loss of connectivity is a bit inconvenient. I wouldn't recommend it.
Worked great 95% of the time. Speeds were 100+mbps in most areas in all the countries I visited. Ping was around 60-200ms.
Two downsides:
1. ChatGPT or apps blocked in Hongkong do not work anymore without VPN
2. In very crowded places internet would slow down a lot
Follow up with previous comment. Email with barcode sent later.
Data works and the price is lowest for 5GB. If you don't mind immediately activation. And also, so far I don't know how much data is left in my data plan. Location is Ontario.
Very disappointing experience. Despite being in France, I couldn’t access essential AI tools like ChatGPT or Gemini – they simply wouldn’t load. I contacted customer support, but they were unable to resolve the issue. During my vacation, not having access to these services was incredibly frustrating. This might work for basic browsing like Instagram or Maps, but if you rely on more advanced tools, this eSIM is not reliable. One of the worst I’ve used – definitely not recommended for travelers who need stable and unrestricted internet access.
Used without issues in both Tokyo and Osaka. The latency wasn't great due to roaming connection through Singapore, but was manageable. At least it’s more convenient than eSIMs that go through Hong Kong and don’t work with services like ChatGPT. The network was au’s LTE or 5G, and signal was solid everywhere, no complaints.
TERRIBLE !
THIS IS A SCAM WEBSITE!!
dont buy from them, they send me an expired QR code and when I asked them why they asked me if my phone was manufactured in China. I have an iPhone which is stated as supported in their website and sure it's manufactured in China.
They sent me a link saying that phones PURCHASED in China are not supported. I bought my Phone in the UK and they say that since the device is not manufactured there they will keep my money. The QR Never worked
Used this eSIM during my trip to Japan — it was smooth, convenient, and worked perfectly the whole time. Definitely a must-have for travelers!
I went with this esim because of the great value and because I saw a positive review (after having tried a couple esims in the past with various companies that barely worked, I'm always a bit apprehensive to try one without and positive reviews) and I just wanted to second that review - airlink worked perfectly throughout Korea (have been connected to SK network the whole 3 weeks) and when considering price per GB, I doubt there are many better options.
Excellent experience, very good coverage, easy use and seamless operation.
Excellent experience, very good coverage, easy use and seamless operation.
Good value but connectivity sketchy outside of major metropolitan areas
Always seamlessly effective! I always love using Travelgator eSIM simply becux it works like a charm every single trip! No need to swap out physical eSIM card and my internet connection is always strong.
The internet worked perfectly everywhere – airports , even on road trips. No annoying "loading..." screens! Plus their customer chat is LEGIT. Messaged them at 1AM (jetlag lol) and replied in 2 minutes. She literally stayed on chat while I set it up, double-checked everything. Way cheaper than my phone plan back home. Never going back to regular SIM cards!
I used it in February this year in Dubai, and it worked well for me during my three‑day stay. While many claimed some providers didn’t work there, others insisted they did. Definitely will be using it again at the end of this year for work.
Unfortunately, the SIM card was very unreliable in Australia. Despite having full 4G/5G signal, we often had to wait several minutes for websites to load. There are definitely better SIM card options available for Australia.
Service blocked and no refund
Bought a 30gb 30 day Esim for South Africa.
One week and 8 GB later, I go to bed. Wake up and there's no connection.
Complained to costumer service and they said my account has been blocked for misuse by the carrier. Overnight. While I slept.
They said they got in touch with them and would let me know the outcome.
I said I don't care about the outcome. I need my phone to work. So I buy an Esim from another company and asked for a refund. It's been 4 days.
I complained on Trustpilot, they answered asking for my details and never heard back.
Now this is my assumption of what's happening:
1. Airhub resells Vodafone UK eSIMs, but possibly without Vodafone’s full awareness of their intended use (i.e. roaming-only, global travel).
• Airhub is likely operating as a mobile virtual network enabler (MVNE) or reseller — meaning they bulk-buy access from Vodafone or a Vodafone-affiliated wholesaler.
• Vodafone UK may see your connection from abroad (e.g. South Africa) as suspicious or misuse, especially if it looks like permanent roaming or violates their “fair use” or “roaming abuse” policies.
2. Vodafone might have automatically blocked your line due to what it considers “abuse” (long-term roaming with no UK usage).
• Many carriers — especially in the EU and UK — have policies against continuous roaming without using the SIM domestically.
• If the system flags your usage as “not compliant” (i.e. you’re using a UK SIM exclusively outside the UK), it can trigger an automatic suspension.
3. Airhub is likely stalling because they don’t have control over Vodafone’s systems and may be worried about chargebacks, contract violations, or getting dropped as a reseller.
⸻
This theory supports my case because:
• I did nothing wrong — used a product sold as a “travel eSIM.”
• If Airhub is selling Vodafone eSIMs for global use without Vodafone’s systems recognizing it as such, that’s a reseller-side misconfiguration, not my fault.
• I am entitled to a refund regardless of their internal arrangement — they sold you something they couldn’t properly support.
I purchased two Bosnia and Herzegovina (HT Eronet) - 10GB/30Days eSIM packages. The pre-installation process was smooth, but activation at the border wasn’t as trouble-free. Throughout the trip, I often had no internet connection. At one rest stop, I noticed the phone had latched onto the MTEL network instead of Eronet. I tried switching manually, experimented with both automatic and manual APN settings (using the official Eronet APN), but none of it helped—the issue remained the same: sometimes there was internet, sometimes there wasn’t.
Once we arrived in Mostar, things got a bit more stable, but even there the connection frequently dropped—at our accommodation too, for instance. My wife (using a Motorola; I have a Honor) kept pointing out that we had no internet again.
Speed wasn’t an issue when it did work, but I’d recommend going with BH Telecom instead—whenever Eronet failed, my other SIM on BH Telecom had full signal. In some cases, the only way to reconnect was to disable and re-enable the eSIM entirely.
It’s a typical scam - don’t use it.
I had issue from beginning.
First I couldn’t install it and they told me I need to be in the destination country.
Later after reaching destination country it was still not working.
I spent like TWO HOURS with them on support chat and they didn’t help and they don’t want to give me my money back.
Strongly not recommend - use anything else but not that.
At first there were problems with activation, it took several hours.
I used eSIM for 2 weeks. Internet works only in the center of large cities, on the outskirts and in small towns the connection completely disappears, or is very, very slow. Support does not respond.
They no longer issue eSIMs from Webbing, with the internet breakout being Webbing's servers in Dallas, TX. They now issue eSIMs from Drei (3 Austria), with the internet breakout being Working Group Two's servers in the UK near London. In addition to that, it seems Drei's roaming agreements with Verizon has a lower priority QCI level compared to Plus and Webbing, and so this isn't the best option for me anymore.
Experience was really bad. APN was not provided, so I waited it 2 hours from support.
As soon as I started using "unlimited" 128 kpbs internet eSIM was blocked and marked is expired in app.
WARNING! This eSim Provider will throttle your data! Bought 100GB/20Days and got throttled after 9-10GB. Support not answering, terrible experience overall.
Connects to 4g of Orange, but speed is very low, more like 2g. Not worth the money
Nine hours, no QR code, no support, no refund, not even an e-mail from a real person, nothing. Ripoff. I hate to admit it, but I’ve been scammed. How do you allow these scammers to be here? Are you in on it, too?
The speed is horrible. Speed at 10 Mbps - 500 GB is useless at this speed
purchased the 5GB canada esim from esimzon.
The only way to pay is paypal, which is notorious for not easy of refund if getting into trouble.
After I purchase, it seems the esim is immediately activated and I didn't find a place to see the barcode for esim activation.
Is this a scam website?
Very good service, sometime switch to 4G but speed is good . We can switch operator and find 5G is need. Price is very low
As others are writing, SIM cards get blocked without providing any valid reason. I was told I had used the SIM in a country I was hundred of kilometers away. Clearly they are lying. They are fraudsters. I hope they go to jail for this fraud.
it barely worked, I mainly could use it for apple car play for everything else I had to wait to be in wifi for it to be usable, whatsapp didn't work well, disney app didn't work either, photos app, or searching anything in google was super slow
I never recieve my QR code. Lost so many minutes to contact, look like a scam. Paypal refund will be issued.
Was recently in Egpyt and had no issue with GoMoWorld. Also promocode worked. Recommended
Can’t activate, seems like a scam as just gives an error all the time like the previous review.
The selected subscription with GoMobile is a disaster. I never got an connection to the internet. The abo was active, but even with etisalat by e& 4G, not with the slower etisalad by e& 3G, it was possible to write any whatsApp, email or check a website.
The last year, with a data package from our local provide i got everytime Internet with etisalat. I would never choose a subscription with goMobile again.
I've now bought and used 30-40 eSIMs in various countries and some are better than others. But by far, Airhub is the WORST. Did not work at all in some countries that were advertised (Canada/Monaco) and customer support was a bang-your-head against-a-wall situation.
NEVER AGAIN.
The speeds are decent, but the IP is from Hong Kong so the latency is quite high. And most importantly, ChatGPT cannot be used unfortunately.
Price was very good, installation was easy and everything worked after setting up the APN. Speed was also good (see speedtest image).
The network showed as "IIJ" which operates on the NTT docomo network. It had coverage almost everywhere except once for about 5 minutes, no big deal.
Top-up was easy but only possible in the app, not the website.
Would definitely recommend and use again!
coverage was very good, easy setup at public wifi spot upon arrival. One major thing though: internet breakout is Hong Kong.
There is no instagram coverage (anymore) in Hong Kong!
If you plan to use this operator, you should be aware of this.
Very bad. Do not buy this esim for UAE! No internet most of time. One time I have connection - result of Speedtest is very bad - 0.3Mbps! See in attachment. Support did not retun money! They tried to debug the problem from tecnical side with my help for about 2 hours - with no result. Very bad experience.
I repeat - do no buy this esim for UAE and maybe for other countries.
I recently purchased this international eSIM for my trip to the UAE, and I am beyond impressed! The setup was quick and hassle-free
I was connected within minutes.
The 5G coverage was outstanding.
If you're traveling to the UAE and need fast, reliable, and affordable data, this eSIM is a perfect choice. Highly recommended!
10/10 - Will definitely use again!
Does not work on my unlocked Pixel phone. Support couldn't give me any answer. Ended up buying from Bytesim and that worked instantly.
Sim does not work for data in Korea. They also claim 24/7 support but they haven’t been online for the last 6 hours. Avoid company, I was left without any internet access when I landed and had to scramble poor free wifi to buy a different eSIM.
They still have not refunded me going to have to file a charge back. Avoid at all costs
The QR code didn't work and after a few emails they issued a new code. After enabling the card and used for a few hours, it got disabled. Every time the support would ask for a lot of useless information.
SIM was good until 8.5/10GB used and 10 days into a 30 day validity.
It stopped working after 10 days and refused to give data, even though I emailed support and there was at least 1GB left
I learned the hard way that my phone signal didn’t reach in Canada lol but Breeze came through! It was pretty smooth and internet was very fast, no lag at all. It was a first time experience but will definitely use it next time. S/o to a reddit user who suggested it.
- it works well with local providers, 5G
- the app is not that good though, you can’t see you esim data there, only purchase the plan; QR code is being delivered by email so you should have 2 devices to be able to install the eSIM
- the biggest surprise (negative) was the the plan is recurring, with no reminders it just renews for the next 29 days, no option to cancel in the app — need to email the support
This is an update of my review. In the end I did receive the eSIM via the support chat.
Fraud, payment was accepted but eSIM was not shown. They wrote in the support chat that they sent it to the email address (where the receipt was received), and after a while stopped replying
the experience was terrible. SCAM!!!!!!!
and when i texted them they just kept tell me to wait for ever!!!!!!
Doesn't work! Waste of money! I was only able to see if it works after arriving in Japan in March '25, but I never got connected when automatic carrier selection is on. I chatted with the BNESIM support and was told to select KDDI manually. After that I was able to get connected, for no more than 2 mins each time in a series of unsuccessful attempts. I then chatted with the support again. This time they said this case will be escalated to the advanced team and I'd be hearing from them within 24 hrs. Yes, you're right! The never responded to me afterwards! Sadly speaking, this is the second time I run into the same situation with them. I bought another esim in 10 mins from EIOTCLUB and I got continuous, stable connection ever since. So which one is the scam?
I purchased my Esim and it give me my Qrcode afterwards. I tried sending them an email but there was no reply. Also, I tried their chat on their website it they replied but didnt give me a QRcode still.
Dont think of going with this !!!!!!
Experience was fair, but some applications (parking app and mapping app) did not work on Maya. Browser based web surfing worked ok. I finally had to buy a second esim from Airalo, for the critical apps above.
Installation was easy, price was okay. Coverage and speed were good.
However, the website said it would connect to all networks (docomo, KDDI, SoftBank, Rakuten) but only KDDI worked for me.
The usage display only updated every 5 days (not ideal). Top-up was not possible.
Overall an okay experience.
As a proper Naija person wey no like wahala, I carry Nesa Mobile enter Japan and I must say e work like magic! From Tokyo to Osaka, network dey steady. No need to dey look for WiFi or disturb anybody for hotspot.
Activation na breeze I just scan small QR code, and boom, my phone don dey browse like say I never comot Naija.
Sometimes the speed go slow small, especially for some areas or inside train, but other times e dey fast well enough to browse, chat, even use map when I waka lost (no shame, e happen).
One thing I gatz salute dem for na customer support. When I get small issue, I message them and dem respond quick quick. No long story. Thanks Omar!
