Zwitchy eSIM Data Plans for Afghanistan

Zwitchy’s plans marketed as “Unlimited” for Afghanistan actually provide a fixed data allowance of 1GB per day. After that 1GB is used, the connection speed is reduced to 1000 kbps, so the plans are not truly unlimited high‑speed data.

If a traveler needs larger data volumes, Zwitchy offers fixed plans such as the Afghanistan · 50 GB · 30 days for $58.00 USD or the Afghanistan · 30 GB · 30 days for $36.50 USD. These plans give high‑speed data up to the stated cap and can be a more cost‑effective choice for heavy data users.

Zwitchy does not provide Afghanistan eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only eSIMs from Zwitchy for Afghanistan. If a phone number or text messaging service is required, users typically rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but availability of these services can vary in Afghanistan, so it is advisable to confirm that the needed app functions before buying the plan.

Zwitchy offers 16 single‑country plans and 29 multi‑country plans that cover Afghanistan. Prices range from about $1 to $139.50 and data caps span from 100 MB to 50 GB. Plans are divided into fixed data caps – a set amount of data valid for the entire validity period – and daily data caps, which limit the amount of data usable each day. This variety allows travelers to choose a plan that matches their data volume and usage pattern.
