“It didn't worked most of the time.
I bought sim card on airport (Unitel-T) for my wife and it was ok. Esim from MTX used the same network, but didn't want to work.”
MTX Connect does not offer an unlimited data eSIM for Cape Verde. The only plans listed for that destination are fixed‑data bundles: 10 GB for 30 days, 4 GB for 14 days and 2 GB for 7 days. Travelers who need a large amount of data may find the 10 GB bundle suitable, but it is still a capped plan rather than an unlimited offering. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most users unless the traveler is an extremely heavy data consumer.
MTX Connect does not provide an eSIM plan for Cape Verde that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are offered by the provider. Travelers who wish to make calls or send messages can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but some destinations may block or restrict access to certain VoIP services, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you need work in Cape Verde before purchasing.
MTX Connect provides three multi‑country data plans that cover Cape Verde, with no single‑country options available. The plans are priced between $10.28 and $34.26, offer data caps ranging from 2 GB to 10 GB, and are valid for 7 to 30 days.
