Tourist eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data plan for French Polynesia. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in the name give only 2GB of high‑speed data, after which the speed is reduced to 2000kbps.
Instead, fixed data plans are available for the same destination. For example, a 20GB plan is valid for 30 days, and a 10GB plan is also valid for 30 days; both plans offer 5G connectivity and allow tethering. Choosing one of these fixed‑data options may be more cost‑effective unless a traveler expects to use very high amounts of data.
