Skratch eSIM Data Plans for Ghana

Skratch does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Ghana. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually give 2 GB per day for a set number of days, after which the speed is reduced to 512 kbps. For travelers who need more data without a daily cap, Skratch offers fixed‑data plans such as the Ghana 20 GB 30 day plan or the Ghana 10 GB 30 day plan, which provide a larger total data allowance for a single validity period. These fixed plans can be more cost‑effective for most users unless they require continuous high‑speed data beyond the daily limits.

Skratch does not offer an eSIM with a phone number or SMS capability for Ghana. The provider’s Ghana plans are strictly data‑only, so travelers will not receive a local number nor inbound or outbound SMS.

Because the connection provides data, travelers can still communicate via VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage. However, certain destinations may restrict access to these services, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps needed for communication are usable in Ghana before purchasing a plan.

Skratch provides 11 single‑country plans and 3 multi‑country plans in Ghana. The single‑country options range in price from $6.99 to $299.70 and offer data caps between 1 GB and 20 GB. Among these, six plans have a daily data cap that allows a different amount of data each day, while the remaining eight set a fixed data quantity for the entire validity period. The multi‑country plans, though fewer in number, follow a similar price and data cap spectrum and provide coverage beyond Ghana.
