I ordered an eSim for Greece and it simply didn't work upon landing which is what I've come to expect after many similar purchases from other vendors. In my opinion no one should spend valuable time debugging such issues abroad so we simply ordered from a different vendor and everything worked right away. I asked Airhub for a refund and they didn't even reply to my request.

I bought 14 300GB eSIMs for Europe and they all stopped working when they reached 35GB. I filed a complaint with AirHub and they told me they didn't actually provide 300GB and only offered 35GB. I asked for a refund and they never gave it to me. That company is a scam. Stay away if you don't want to be scammed.
AIRHUB is a SCAM. They are thieves who steal your money and give you eSIMs with less GB than they offer.

Nine hours, no QR code, no support, no refund, not even an e-mail from a real person, nothing. Ripoff. I hate to admit it, but I’ve been scammed. How do you allow these scammers to be here? Are you in on it, too?

Did not have a great experience with Airhub. They had multiple sets of instructions which conflicted with each other. Both instructions said to change the APN from the default configuration but had different values for what to change it to. Internet connection would sometimes stop working entirely *regardless* of what I set it to in Spain, and in Greece only seemed to work when I reset it to the default (not either of the values from the instructions).
Good price per GB, but not that valuable if it doesn't work. I don't plan to use Airhub again in the future.

I tried so many esim providers. Some worked, some less, but when I discovered BNESIM on esimdb I decided to never change. Their prices are amazing, they have real no expiration plans and the prices are very honest.
I used it in my summer vacation in Greece, in a business trip in USA and I could not be more happy. They are the only provider offering international voice calls and virtual numbers, with many other services (VPN!).

This was a surprisingly great experience actually!
I consider myself a little bit of a technophobe so I was VERY hesitant, but the online chat helped me through the installation and was super patient.
Overall, would definitely try again on my next vacation. Hopefully, it’ll arrive sooner rather than later :)
There are about 120 travel eSIM brands available for use in Greece, and more than 7000 prepaid data plans, offering a wide variety of options that make it easy for travelers to find an eSIM that suits their needs.
Unlimited data eSIM plans for Greece are available from several providers. The following companies offer plans marked as unlimited, though most of them include speed limits or throttling after a certain data volume: Firsty (256 kbps), Yoho Mobile, abesteSIM, Roamify, MicroEsim, Billion Connect, Truely, Yesim, and FairPlay (all typically capped at about 5 Mbps). Prices for these unlimited options range from free or a few dollars for a single‑day plan (e.g., Firsty and Yesim) up to roughly $25 for multi‑day packages, such as those offered by Roamify. Plans are valid for 1 to 10 days and usually support 4G, 5G, or LTE networks; some providers also mention 3G coverage.
When selecting a plan, consider the expected data usage for your trip—streaming video, cloud backups, or large downloads—and choose a plan whose speed limits and validity match those needs comfortably.
Cosmote: Greece's largest telecom operator, offering extensive mobile coverage nationwide.
Vodafone Greece: A major provider delivering comprehensive mobile services across the country.
Wind Hellas: A significant operator offering a range of mobile services throughout Greece.
In addition to these major Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Greece hosts several Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs). MVNOs provide mobile services by leasing access from the major carriers. Examples include Q-Telecom and Cyta Mobile. However, most travel eSIMs rely on the infrastructure of MNOs rather than MVNOs.
Travel eSIM plans that include a phone number and SMS are available for Greece from several providers, including GlobaleSIM, Roamify, SimOptions and MoreMins. These plans provide an inbound and outbound voice line and SMS capability, but the numbers use foreign dialing codes such as +1, +33, +44 and +420, so they are not local Greek numbers. Prices for data‑only and talk‑plus data plans start around $4 and can go up to roughly $70, with validity periods ranging from 7 days to 30 days.
All plans include a phone number and SMS service. GlobaleSIM offers inbound and outbound voice with inbound SMS, while Roamify, SimOptions and MoreMins provide both inbound and outbound SMS in addition to full voice coverage. Because the dialing codes differ from Greece’s +30, travelers will use a foreign number while roaming in Greece but the service functions normally for calls, texts and data over Greek networks.
