I ordered an eSim for Greece and it simply didn't work upon landing which is what I've come to expect after many similar purchases from other vendors. In my opinion no one should spend valuable time debugging such issues abroad so we simply ordered from a different vendor and everything worked right away. I asked Airhub for a refund and they didn't even reply to my request.

I bought 14 300GB eSIMs for Europe and they all stopped working when they reached 35GB. I filed a complaint with AirHub and they told me they didn't actually provide 300GB and only offered 35GB. I asked for a refund and they never gave it to me. That company is a scam. Stay away if you don't want to be scammed.
AIRHUB is a SCAM. They are thieves who steal your money and give you eSIMs with less GB than they offer.

Nine hours, no QR code, no support, no refund, not even an e-mail from a real person, nothing. Ripoff. I hate to admit it, but I’ve been scammed. How do you allow these scammers to be here? Are you in on it, too?

Did not have a great experience with Airhub. They had multiple sets of instructions which conflicted with each other. Both instructions said to change the APN from the default configuration but had different values for what to change it to. Internet connection would sometimes stop working entirely *regardless* of what I set it to in Spain, and in Greece only seemed to work when I reset it to the default (not either of the values from the instructions).
Good price per GB, but not that valuable if it doesn't work. I don't plan to use Airhub again in the future.

I tried so many esim providers. Some worked, some less, but when I discovered BNESIM on esimdb I decided to never change. Their prices are amazing, they have real no expiration plans and the prices are very honest.
I used it in my summer vacation in Greece, in a business trip in USA and I could not be more happy. They are the only provider offering international voice calls and virtual numbers, with many other services (VPN!).

This was a surprisingly great experience actually!
I consider myself a little bit of a technophobe so I was VERY hesitant, but the online chat helped me through the installation and was super patient.
Overall, would definitely try again on my next vacation. Hopefully, it’ll arrive sooner rather than later :)
There are more than 110 travel eSIM brands and over 6 400 prepaid data plans available in Greece, giving travelers a wide variety of options that make it easy to find an eSIM that suits their needs.
Unlimited data eSIM plans for Greece are offered by several providers. Firsty offers a zero‑cost, 1‑day unlimited plan that includes ads and limits speed to 256 kbps; Yoho Mobile, Roamify, MicroEsim, Billion Connect, abesteSIM, Truely, Yesim and Airhub all provide unlimited data for stays ranging from 1 to 10 days (or 5–15 days for Airhub). Most of these plans allow tethering, and most of them state that speed may be throttled or limited to 5 Mbps (abesteSIM and Yoho Mobile list that specific limit), while the others indicate that speed may be slowed at higher usage. Prices for these unlimited plans fall between roughly $0 for Firsty’s free offer and about $27 per plan for the most expensive options such as MicroEsim. Travelers should keep in mind that although data is unlimited, real‑world speeds can vary, especially when traffic is heavy or the network infrastructure is congested.
Cosmote: Greece's largest telecom operator, offering extensive mobile coverage nationwide.
Vodafone Greece: A major provider delivering comprehensive mobile services across the country.
Wind Hellas: A significant operator offering a range of mobile services throughout Greece.
In addition to these major Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Greece hosts several Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs). MVNOs provide mobile services by leasing access from the major carriers. Examples include Q-Telecom and Cyta Mobile. However, most travel eSIMs rely on the infrastructure of MNOs rather than MVNOs.
Yes, travel eSIM plans that provide a phone number and SMS service are available for trips to Greece. Two providers that offer such plans are GlobaleSIM and Roamify.
GlobaleSIM offers Greece‑specific data packages beginning with 1GB for 7 days at $4.00, scaling up to 20GB for 30 days at $12.00. These plans feature a +1 dialing code, inbound and outbound voice, and inbound SMS only. Roamify supplies Greece eSIMs with a +33 dialing code, supporting inbound and outbound voice and SMS. Their packages start at 15GB for 30 days for $15.00 and go up to 100GB for 30 days at $50.00, with larger plans available for higher data needs. Both solutions give you a virtual phone number that works while you travel in Greece, though the numbers originate from foreign dialing codes rather than the local Greek code.
