“The application is good and the coverage depends on chosen supplier. Some suppliers are good, others need to be enhanced. The speed and coverage depends on the service provider and on the country infrastructure. Rate is acceptable.”

“Nice”

“We shall never know - the reviews were enough to put me off”

“I ordered an eSim for Greece and it simply didn't work upon landing which is what I've come to expect after many similar purchases from other vendors. In my opinion no one should spend valuable time debugging such issues abroad so we simply ordered from a different vendor and everything worked right away. I asked Airhub for a refund and they didn't even reply to my request.”

“I bought 14 300GB eSIMs for Europe and they all stopped working when they reached 35GB. I filed a complaint with AirHub and they told me they didn't actually provide 300GB and only offered 35GB. I asked for a refund and they never gave it to me. That company is a scam. Stay away if you don't want to be scammed.
AIRHUB is a SCAM. They are thieves who steal your money and give you eSIMs with less GB than they offer.”

“Nine hours, no QR code, no support, no refund, not even an e-mail from a real person, nothing. Ripoff. I hate to admit it, but I’ve been scammed. How do you allow these scammers to be here? Are you in on it, too?”

“The signal strength is bad, so the bandwidth is slow.
”

“Did not have a great experience with Airhub. They had multiple sets of instructions which conflicted with each other. Both instructions said to change the APN from the default configuration but had different values for what to change it to. Internet connection would sometimes stop working entirely *regardless* of what I set it to in Spain, and in Greece only seemed to work when I reset it to the default (not either of the values from the instructions).
Good price per GB, but not that valuable if it doesn't work. I don't plan to use Airhub again in the future.”

“I tried so many esim providers. Some worked, some less, but when I discovered BNESIM on esimdb I decided to never change. Their prices are amazing, they have real no expiration plans and the prices are very honest.
I used it in my summer vacation in Greece, in a business trip in USA and I could not be more happy. They are the only provider offering international voice calls and virtual numbers, with many other services (VPN!). ”

“This was a surprisingly great experience actually!
I consider myself a little bit of a technophobe so I was VERY hesitant, but the online chat helped me through the installation and was super patient.
Overall, would definitely try again on my next vacation. Hopefully, it’ll arrive sooner rather than later :)”
Everything you need to know about using eSIMs in Greece
140 travel eSIM providers are available in Greece, and 10, 500 prepaid data plans can be chosen. There is a wide variety of options, making it easy for travelers to find an eSIM that suits their needs.
Yes, several eSIM providers offer unlimited data plans for Greece, though the service is typically subject to speed throttling or limits. The plans are available in validity periods ranging from one day up to ten days, with most providers offering daily to weekly options. Prices vary from as low as free or a few dollars for a one‑day plan, up to around $17.50 USD for a week‑long unlimited option. While the data allowance is unlimited, users should expect speed caps—ranging from roughly 256 kbps to 5 Mbps depending on the provider—and possible throttling after a certain amount of high‑bandwidth usage. Travelers who require higher speeds for activities such as video streaming or large downloads should therefore choose a plan that includes sufficient data coverage and keep in mind that most unlimited plans still impose speed constraints.
Cosmote: Greece's largest telecom operator, offering extensive mobile coverage nationwide.
Vodafone Greece: A major provider delivering comprehensive mobile services across the country.
Wind Hellas: A significant operator offering a range of mobile services throughout Greece.
In addition to these major Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Greece hosts several Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs). MVNOs provide mobile services by leasing access from the major carriers. Examples include Q-Telecom and Cyta Mobile. However, most travel eSIMs rely on the infrastructure of MNOs rather than MVNOs.
Travel eSIM plans that provide a phone number and SMS for Greece are offered by several providers. GlobaleSIM, Roamify, Orange Travel and eSimfly all market Greece‑targeted plans that include inbound and outbound voice and inbound or both inbound/outbound SMS, with validity periods ranging from 7 days to 30 days and prices from about $4 to $50.
All of these plans use a foreign dialing code: GlobaleSIM supplies a +1 (USA/Canada) number, while Roamify, Orange Travel and eSimfly provide a +33 (France) number. Therefore, the phone numbers are not local Greek numbers – they are from the United States or France. If a local +30 Greek number is essential, travelers will need to explore data‑only options and use VoIP applications for voice and text.
