Astaroam does not offer a truly unlimited data eSIM for India. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” provide a fixed 3GB/day of high‑speed data; once that daily quota is reached the speed drops to 1000kbps.

If a traveler prefers to avoid speed throttling, Astaroam offers several fixed‑data options such as 50GB for 90 days, 20GB for 30 days, or 10GB for 30 days. These plans keep the same speed throughout their validity and may be more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

Astaroam does not provide India eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability, so only data‑only plans are offered for that destination. Travelers can still use popular VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging, but they should check that these apps are accessible in India before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict certain VoIP services.
