CocoRoam eSIM Data Plans for India

CocoRoam does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for India. The available plans for India are fixed data plans with set data caps and validity periods. Examples include the India 100GB 30d plan, the Asia 100GB 30d plan, the Asia 100GB 180d plan, the Asia 50GB 30d plan, and the Asia 50GB 90d plan, all of which offer a specific data allowance that must be used within the stated validity window.

Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer who would benefit from an unlimited option.

CocoRoam does not provide an India eSIM plan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. All of its India plans are data‑only, so travellers cannot receive text messages or telephone calls through the plan.

That said, travelers can still use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages. Availability of these apps can vary in different places, so it is advisable to confirm that the services needed for communication work in India before buying a plan.

CocoRoam provides 31 single‑country plans and 47 multi‑country plans that include India, giving travelers a wide selection of options. The catalog’s pricing ranges from about $3.70 to $152.40, while the data allowance spans from 1 GB up to 100 GB. Plans are divided into fixed data caps—where a total amount is allocated for the full validity period—and daily data cap plans, which restrict the amount of data that can be used each day within the same overall validity window. This structure allows users to choose between an all‑inclusive data bundle or a daily‑limited approach that can keep usage predictable throughout the trip.
