eSIMCard does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for India. Every plan that carries the word “Unlimited” in its name actually has a cap on high‑speed data, typically 1 GB per day or 2 GB per day, and after the cap is reached the speed drops to 512 kbps (or 2000 kbps for the Plus version). This throttling means that data use is not unlimited in the sense of having high‑speed access for an unlimited amount of data.

If you need a larger amount of data without a high‑speed cap, eSIMCard offers fixed data plans such as Orange 20 GB Data, Unlimited Talk & Text (31 days), Orange 50 GB, Orange 100 GB, or the eSIM Data For 100 GB in 30 days plan. These plans give you a predictable amount of data for the duration of the validity period and avoid the speed reduction that applies to the “Unlimited” plans. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective unless you are an extremely heavy data consumer.

eSIMCard does not provide an India eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only plans. However, the data connection can be used for VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage to make calls and send messages. Some destinations may block or restrict certain VoIP apps, so it is advisable to check that the applications you need are accessible in India before buying a plan.
