eSimfly eSIM Data Plans for India

No, eSimfly does not offer truly unlimited data eSIMs for India. The plans that carry the “Unlimited” label provide a daily cap of 3 GB and apply a reduced speed of 1000 kbps once that limit is reached. These are fixed‑data plans rather than unlimited.

Travellers looking for large amounts of data can choose from eSimfly’s fixed‑data options. For example, the Global 100 GB plan for 31 days and the Asia 100 GB plan for 180 days give a generous data allowance, and the 50 GB options are also available for 30 or 90 days. These plans offer higher data volumes and can be a cost‑effective choice for most users.

eSimfly does not offer India eSIMs that include a phone number or SMS capability; the provider only sells data‑only plans for that destination.

Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice and text. However, some destinations may block or restrict certain apps, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps a traveler relies on are accessible in India before purchasing an eSIM.

eSimfly provides a total of 12 single‑country data plans for India and 51 multi‑country plans that include Indian coverage. The overall price range for these plans is from about $2.96 to $121.38, while the data caps span from 1 GB up to 100 GB. Among the available options, 18 plans are structured as daily data caps (giving a set amount of data each day) and 45 are fixed data cap plans that grant a specific data amount for the entire validity period. The plans vary in duration from 3 days to a full year, and some plans allow tethering and have reduced speed limits of 1000 kbps.
