eSimpli eSIM Data Plans for India

eSimpli does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for India. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually offer 1GB per day of high‑speed data and include a reduced speed of 1250 kbps once the daily limit is reached, so the data is capped.

Travelers who need a larger, fixed amount of data can choose eSimpli’s fixed data plans for India, such as the 20GB 30‑day plan, the 10GB 30‑day plan, or the 5GB 30‑day plan. These plans give a set amount of high‑speed data that must be used within the validity period and can be more cost‑effective for most users unless they require very heavy data usage.

No eSIM plans with a phone number or SMS are currently offered by eSimpli for India. The provider only sells data‑only eSIMs for travelers to use on the network.

While you cannot receive traditional calls or SMS on those plans, popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can generally be used over the data connection for voice calls and messaging. Travelers should verify that these apps are accessible in India, as some destinations may block or restrict specific services.

eSimpli offers a total of 13 data plans for India, split into 8 single‑country options and 5 multi‑country packages. The plans include both fixed‑data‑cap models and daily‑data‑cap models, allowing travelers to choose between a set amount of data for the entire validity period or a cap that resets each day. Prices cover a broad spectrum from about $7.95 to roughly $108.68, while data caps range from 1 GB up to 20 GB. Validity periods span 5 to 30 days, and many of the plans support tethering with a reduced speed threshold of 1250, giving users flexibility across coverage scope, data amounts, and cost.
