FootySIMs eSIM Data Plans for India

FootySIMs does not provide a true unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for India. All available options are fixed data plans that offer 1 GB per day for a set validity of 7 days or 30 days. After the allotted 1 GB is used, the speed throttles to 512 kbps. Travelers who need a larger data allowance can choose a longer‑validity fixed plan, such as the 7‑day or 30‑day packages, which give the same daily allotment but spread it over more days. If higher capacity is required, a fixed data plan will be more cost‑effective than a pay‑as‑you‑go model for heavy users.

FootySIMs currently does not provide any eSIM plans for India that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers looking for connectivity will find only data‑only eSIMs available for purchase from this provider. While a data‑only connection allows use of VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage for voice and messaging, it is important to verify beforehand that these services are accessible in India, as some destinations may restrict or block certain apps or VoIP traffic.

FootySIMs provides three single‑country data plans for India, and it does not currently offer any multi‑country plans for this country. Among the available plans, two are structured with a daily data cap while one delivers a fixed data amount. Prices for these options range from about $4.50 to $116.45, and each plan offers a 1 GB data allocation that can be used anywhere within India for a validity period of 7 to 30 days. Some plans include tethering permissions and reduced speed limits of 512 Kbps when the data cap is exceeded.
