Globie eSIM Data Plans for India

Globie does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for India. The plans labeled “India Unlimited” give a daily allowance of 3 GB; after that limit the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps, so the data is not unlimited.

For travelers who need more data, Globie offers fixed data plans such as the India 50 GB for 30 days plan, which delivers 50 GB of high‑speed data, or the India 20 GB for 30 days plan. These plans provide larger data allowances without a daily cap and can be a more cost‑effective choice unless a user expects to consume data beyond the 3 GB/day limit.

Globie does not offer an India eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability; the provider supplies only data‑only plans for destination India. Travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for calls and messages, but they should verify that these services are not blocked or restricted in India before purchasing a data-only plan.

Globie offers 12 single‑country data plans that cover India, along with 11 multi‑country plans that include India as one of the covered destinations. Within these options, 6 plans feature a daily data cap while 17 offer a fixed data amount. Prices for all Globie plans in India range from about $4.49 to $271.49, with data caps spanning from 1 GB up to 50 GB and validity periods varying between 5 and 180 days. Tethering support is available on applicable plans, though data speeds may be reduced to 512 kbit/s after thresholds are exceeded.
