mobineX eSIM Data Plans for India

MobineX does not offer a genuinely unlimited data eSIM for travelers in India. The plans that carry the label “Unlimited” are fixed‑data plans that provide 1 GB or 5 GB of high‑speed data per day and then throttle the connection to 128 kbps or 1 000 kbps, respectively. If a user needs more data, they can purchase a larger fixed‑data plan such as the 30 GB / 30 days, 50 GB / 30 days, 50 GB / 90 days, or 100 GB / 60 days options, which provide ample high‑speed data for the specified validity period. These fixed‑data plans may be more cost‑effective for travelers who consume a lot of data, while the “Unlimited” labels should be understood as limited‑capacity plans rather than true unlimited data.

mobineX does not offer India eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. All mobile eSIMs in India available through mobineX are data‑only.

Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection to make calls or send messages. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to certain VoIP services, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps relied upon are usable in India before purchasing a mobineX plan.

mobineX provides 9 single‑country data plans and 64 multi‑country plans that include India. The single‑country plans offer a fixed data amount for a set validity period, whereas the multi‑country plans may feature a daily data cap that resets each day, giving travelers more flexibility. Prices range from roughly $3.90 to $480, and data caps vary between 1 GB and 100 GB.
