MoodSIM eSIM Data Plans for India

MoodSIM’s plans that include “Unlimited” in the name give a daily data allowance—500 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, or more—after which the rate is throttled to a reduced speed (512 kbps, 1 Mbps, or 384 kbps). Because high‑speed data is limited each day, the plans are not truly unlimited. Travelers who need continuous high‑speed connectivity will find MoodSIM’s fixed‑data plans, such as the India 20 GB 30 days plan or the India 50 GB 30 days plan, as more appropriate choices. These fixed data plans provide a large amount of high‑speed data for the specified validity period without a daily cap, making them more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

MoodSIM does not offer eSIM plans with a local phone number or SMS capability for India. All of its plans for the country are data‑only, so you will not receive a line that can receive call or text messages.

You can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging, although availability may vary and you should verify that these services work in India before purchasing.

MoodSIM provides a total of 49 data plans for India, split between 16 single‑country offerings and 33 multi‑country packages. The single‑country plans deliver data exclusively within India, while the multi‑country options allow the same data allocation to be used across several markets, with India included in the coverage list. Prices span from as low as $0.49 to around $106.49, and data caps range from 100 MB up to 50 GB, covering both fixed‑amount and daily‑cap structures where applicable.
