RoamGo eSIM Data Plans for India

RoamGo does not provide a true unlimited‑data eSIM for India. All plans that feature “Unlimited” in their name only offer a set amount of high‑speed data per day – for example 3 GB/day for the India · Indicomm · Unlimited plans – after which the speed drops to a reduced rate.

Travelers who need large data allowances can instead choose from RoamGo’s fixed data bundles. Two common examples are the India 50GB 30Days plan (‑$60.20 USD) and the India 20GB 30Days plan (‑$21.23 USD). Fixed data plans can be a more cost‑effective choice unless the user expects to consume data beyond those allowances.

RoamGo does not provide a phone number or SMS capability for its India eSIM plans. The plans are data‑only, so travelers who need voice or text messaging can rely on popular VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict specific apps or VoIP services, so it is advisable to verify that the apps you rely on are accessible in India before purchasing.

RoamGo lists 47 single‑country data plans and 99 multi‑country plans that include India. The available plans span a price range from about $1.05 to $329.85 and offer data caps between 500 MB and 50 GB. Among the plans, 59 are structured with a daily data cap—meaning the data allowance resets each day—while 87 are fixed‑data plans that provide a set amount of data for the entire validity period. This mix allows travelers to choose between short‑term daily limits or longer‑term fixed data bundles depending on their usage needs.
