Zwitchy eSIM Data Plans for India

Zwitchy does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for India. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually give a fixed daily data allowance and apply a reduced speed of 1000kbps once that daily limit is reached. For example, the India · Unlimited - 3 days plan offers 3GB/day for 3 days, and the India · Unlimited - 30 days plan offers 3GB/day for 30 days, both with the same throttling after the daily cap.

If a traveler needs a larger, unthrottled data allowance, Zwitchy offers fixed data plans such as the India · 50 GB · 30 days plan or the India · 30 GB · 30 days plan, which provide a set amount of high‑speed data for the entire validity period. These fixed plans can be more cost‑effective for users who consume a lot of data.

Zwitchy does not provide India eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The available India eSIMs from Zwitchy are data‑only, so travelers cannot place or receive standard voice calls or text messages through the local SIM number.

However, users may still make voice and messaging communications via popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage using the data connection. Note that some destinations may block or restrict access to these services, so travelers should verify that the apps they rely on are accessible in India before purchasing.

Zwitchy offers 16 single‑country plans and 29 multi‑country plans for India. The available plans range in price from about $1.00 to $139.50 and cover data caps between 100 MB and 50 GB. Some options provide a fixed data allocation, while others let you use data each day up to a set daily cap. Many plans also allow tethering, though a reduced speed cap of 1000 kbit/s may apply.
