nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Iran

nextSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Iran. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their names actually include a fixed data cap of 1 GB or 2 GB and, once that amount is reached, the speed is reduced to 512 kbps or 2000 kbps. Therefore, these plans are not unlimited in the sense of offering high‑speed data without limits.

Travelers who need more data can choose from nextSIM’s fixed data plans that offer larger allowances. Examples include the 50 GB 30 days Premium plan, the 40 GB 30 days Premium plan, the 30 GB 30 days Premium plan, the 20 GB 30 days Premium plan, and the 10 GB 30 days Premium plan. These fixed data plans provide a set amount of high‑speed data for a specified validity period and can be more cost‑effective unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer.

nextSIM does not offer an eSIM for Iran that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are available for travelers visiting Iran.

If you need voice or messaging, consider using VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection. Keep in mind that some destination‑level restrictions may block or limit access to certain apps, so verify that the services you rely on are reachable in Iran before purchasing a plan.

NextSIM offers a total of 48 distinct data‑cap plans that include Iran. Among them, 12 are single‑country plans that provide coverage only within Iran, while 36 are multi‑country plans that include Iran as part of a broader package. These plans span a price range from $8.49 to $1, 279.70 and cover data caps between 1 GB and 50 GB. Of the 48 plans, 10 feature a daily data cap, allowing a specific amount of data each day, whereas 38 provide a fixed data amount that can be used throughout the plan’s validity.
