SIMzip eSIM Data Plans for Maldives

SIMzip does not currently provide any unlimited data eSIM plans for the Maldives. Travelers who need data can choose from a range of fixed‑data options instead. For example, the Maldives 2GB for 5 days plan gives 2 GB of high‑speed data for five consecutive days, while the Maldives 1GB for 5 days plan offers 1 GB for the same period. These fixed‑data offerings are available across both 4G and 5G networks within the Maldivian coverage area. Selecting a fixed plan can be more cost‑effective for most users unless they anticipate using very large amounts of data.

SIMzip does not provide eSIMs that include a phone number or SMS capability for travelers heading to the Maldives. The only plans available from SIMzip for this destination are data‑only plans, offering internet connectivity without voice or messaging services. Users can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages, but a local number and traditional SMS are not part of the package.
