MoodSIM eSIM Data Plans for Mauritania

MoodSIM does not offer a truly unlimited high‑speed eSIM plan for Mauritania. The plans that include “Unlimited” in the name still have a daily data cap—ranging from 1GB to 10GB per day—after which speed is throttled to 1Mbps or 384 kbps. Because the data cap persists, these plans are not considered unlimited in the sense of no data limit.

Instead, MoodSIM provides fixed‑data options that give a set amount of high‑speed data for a fixed period. Examples include the 20GB 30‑day plan, the 10GB 30‑day plan, and the 5GB 30‑day plan, all of which offer the specified amount of data with no daily limit before the plan expires. Choosing one of these fixed‑data plans can be more cost‑effective for travelers who need predictable data usage.

MoodSIM does not provide eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability for travelers heading to Mauritania; only data‑only eSIM options are available from this provider. Travelers who need voice or messaging services can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, though some destinations may block or restrict access to certain apps or services, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps one relies on are usable in Mauritania before purchasing.

MoodSIM offers 11 single‑country plans for Mauritania. These plans cover data caps ranging from 1 GB to 20 GB and are priced between roughly $11.49 and $163.99, giving travelers a broad range of options to suit both short‑term and longer stays. No multi‑country plans are currently available for this destination.
