nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Mauritania

nextSIM does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Mauritania. Every plan advertised with “Unlimited” in its name actually offers a fixed amount of high‑speed data—typically 1 GB or 2 GB per day—after which the speed is throttled to a reduced value such as 512 kbps or 2000 kbps.

For travelers who need more data, nextSIM offers several large‑data fixed plans. For example, the eSIM Africa 20GB 30Days Standard plan gives 20 GB of high‑speed data for 30 days, and the eSIM GLOBAL 50GB 30Days Premium plan supplies 50 GB for the same period. These options provide a substantial data allowance without the reduced‑speed limits associated with the “Unlimited” titles.

NextSIM does not offer eSIM plans in Mauritania that include a phone number or SMS capability.

Only data‑only eSIMs are available, and travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to these apps, so it is advisable to verify their availability before purchasing a plan.

nextSIM provides 17 single‑country data plans and 34 multi‑country plans that include coverage for Mauritania. The available packages range from about $8.96 to $1, 262.62 USD and offer data caps between 1 GB and 50 GB, with validity periods spanning 1 to 90 days. The catalogue includes both fixed‑data‑cap options and daily‑cap options, giving users flexibility depending on their usage patterns.
