Jetpac eSIM Data Plans for Mauritius

Jetpac does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Mauritius. The plans that carry the “Unlimited” name actually give 3GB per day and include a reduced speed of 1000kbps once the daily limit is reached.

Jetpac does offer fixed data plans with larger allowances, such as the 40GB plan valid for 30 days and the 30GB plan also valid for 30 days, which give higher data volumes without the speed reduction.

Jetpac does not provide Mauritius eSIM plans that include a permanent phone number or SMS capabilities. Travelers who purchase a Jetpac eSIM for Mauritius will receive a data‑only plan that offers internet access without local calling or texting. While VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage can normally be used over the data connection for voice and text communication, some destinations may block or restrict certain apps or services. Travelers should confirm that the VoIP apps they plan to rely on are available in Mauritius before buying an eSIM.

Jetpac offers 14 single‑country data plans for Mauritius, with no multi‑country options currently available. The plans are grouped into two main types: daily data‑cap and fixed data‑cap. There are five daily plans that reset each day and nine fixed‑data plans that provide a lump sum of data that does not reset. Prices range from $7.50 to $675, while the data caps vary from 1 GB to 40 GB and validity periods span 1 to 30 days. Some plans allow tethering, are limited to new users, and include a reduced speed of 1 Mbps.
