ASIMGO eSIM Data Plans for New Zealand

ASIMGO provides several unlimited data eSIM plans that cover New Zealand. The available plans range in validity from 1 day up to 30 days, with prices spanning from about $3.71 USD for a 1‑day plan to roughly $103.93 USD for a 30‑day plan. The unlimited plans list a maximum speed of either 5Mbps (5000kbps) or 10Mbps (10000kbps); however, the feature description notes that speeds may be throttled after heavy usage, which is the typical Fair Usage Policy applied to ASIMGO’s unlimited offerings. Users who are unsure whether a particular plan will be subject to speed restrictions or wish to confirm the amount of data that can be used at full speed should contact ASIMGO directly for clarification.

ASIMGO does not provide a New Zealand eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability. All of its plans for New Zealand are data‑only; there is no option for inbound or outbound voice or text messages.
Because of this, travelers who need calls or texts will need to rely on VoIP or messaging applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. Those apps usually work in New Zealand, but some destinations can block or restrict specific services, so it is wise to confirm that the apps essential to the user are available before purchasing.

ASIMGO’s catalog for New Zealand includes a wide menu of data options. The provider lists 35 single‑country plans and 383 multi‑country plans that cover New Zealand. These plans span a price range from roughly $0.54 up to $116.58, while the data caps vary from 200 MB to unlimited data. Some of the offerings feature fixed data amounts, while others provide daily data caps, allowing travelers to choose the structure that best fits their usage patterns.
