EsimForTravels eSIM Data Plans for New Zealand

EsimForTravels does not provide a true unlimited high‑speed data plan for New Zealand. The plans that use the title “Unlimited” give a 3GB per day allowance; after 4GB of data the speed is reduced to 1 Mbps, so the data is still capped. If a traveler needs no speed throttling and has a larger data budget, EsimForTravels offers fixed data plans such as a 50GB plan valid for 30 days or a 20GB plan valid for 7 days, which provide larger amounts of data without daily limitations.

EsimForTravels does not provide a New Zealand eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only plans for New Zealand, with no inbound or outbound voice or SMS functions.

Travelers who need to make calls or send messages can use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict these apps, so it is advisable to verify that the VoIP services you rely on are accessible in New Zealand before purchasing an eSIM.

EsimForTravels provides 27 single‑country data plans for New Zealand, without any multi‑country options. Among these plans there are 4 that include a daily data cap and 23 that feature a fixed data amount. The available plans span a price range of approximately $5.76 to $69.21 and offer data caps from 1 GB up to 50 GB, with validity periods between 1 and 30 days. Several plans allow tethering, include a 5 Mbps speed limit, and provide a reduced speed option of 1 Mbps.
