eSIMzio eSIM Data Plans for New Zealand

eSIMzio does not provide a truly unlimited data plan for New Zealand. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name give a high‑speed allowance of 3 GB per day and reduce the speed to 1 Mbps after that threshold is reached, so they are fixed data plans rather than unlimited.

If you need a large amount of data, eSIMzio sells fixed‑data plans such as the New Zealand 20 GB plan for 30 days or the Global 60 GB plan for 125 days, both of which offer plenty of high‑speed data within the specified validity period. These alternatives can be more cost effective for most travelers who do not exceed the 3 GB/day limit.

eSIMzio does not offer New Zealand eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider’s New Zealand offerings are data‑only. Travelers who need voice or text can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the internet connection; however, users should check that these services are accessible in New Zealand before purchasing, as some destinations may restrict or block specific apps.

eSIMzio gives travelers in New Zealand access to 12 single‑country plans and 29 multi‑country plans. The catalog includes plans with a fixed data amount as well as plans that restrict usage by a daily data cap, allowing users to choose between a total data pool or a day‑by‑day limit. Across all of these options the price range is roughly $2 USD to $228 USD, while the data caps span from 200 MB up to 60 GB, giving a broad selection to suit different budgets and data needs.
