Stixrs eSIM Data Plans for New Zealand

Stixrs does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for New Zealand. Every plan that carries the word “Unlimited” in its name actually has a fixed data cap—such as 3 GB per day for a 3‑day period or 1 GB per day for a 7‑day period—and the speed is throttled to a reduced rate once that limit is reached.

Travelers who need a large amount of high‑speed data can choose from Stixrs’ fixed data plans, such as the 50 GB plan valid for 180 days or the 20 GB plan valid for 30 days. These plans offer a set amount of data that must be used within the specified validity period and can be more cost‑effective for most users unless extremely heavy data consumption is expected.

Stixrs does not offer New Zealand eSIMs that include a local phone number or SMS capability; only data‑only plans are available. Travelers can use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these apps are accessible in New Zealand before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict specific services.

Stixrs offers 19 single‑country plans and 49 multi‑country plans for New Zealand. The available plans range in price from about $4.00 to $479.50 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 50 GB. Some plans are fixed‑data‑cap, giving a set amount of data for the validity period, while others are daily‑data‑cap, limiting the amount of data that can be used each day.
