The SIM Shop eSIM Data Plans for New Zealand

The SIM Shop does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for New Zealand. All active plans for that destination have a specific data cap, such as 50GB for 180 days or 20GB for 30 days, and the validity period starts when the network connection is first established.

If an unlimited option is required, the closest choice is to purchase a fixed‑data plan with a large allowance. For example, the 50GB data eSIM valid for 180 days or the 20GB data eSIM for 30 days are the largest offers currently available. Selecting a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, unless they anticipate very heavy data usage that would benefit from an unlimited structure.

The SIM Shop does not provide New Zealand eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are available from this provider. Travelers who need voice or text can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in New Zealand before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict certain apps.

The SIM Shop offers 15 single‑country plans and 27 multi‑country plans for New Zealand. Prices range from $3.48 to $130.67, with data caps between 1 GB and 50 GB. Some plans provide a fixed data amount for the entire validity period, while others limit data usage on a daily basis.
