Yaalo eSIM Data Plans for Africa

Yaalo does not provide a plan with a truly unlimited data allowance for Africa. All of its plans that carry the word “Unlimited” include a daily data cap of 1GB (or 2GB on the “Unlimited Plus” variant). Once the daily limit is reached the speed drops to 512 kbps (or 2000 kbps for the “Plus” plans).

Travelers who need more data can choose from fixed‑data plans instead. For example, Yaalo offers a 50GB eSIM data plan that lasts 30 days and a 100GB eSIM data plan that lasts 30 days for Africa. These options give a higher total data allowance and avoid the throttling that applies to the “Unlimited” packages, making them a more cost‑effective choice for heavy data users.

Yaalo does not provide Africa eSIM plans with a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only eSIMs for African destinations. Travelers who need voice or messaging services can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection.

Yaalo offers two eSIM plans that include coverage across the same set of African countries. The “eSIM data for in Africa” plan and the broader “eSIM data for in Global” plan both cover Burkina Faso, Benin, Botswana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic, the Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Algeria, Egypt, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea‑Bissau, Kenya, Comoros, Liberia, Morocco, Madagascar, Mali, Malawi, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Réunion, Rwanda, Seychelles, Senegal, Chad, Tunisia, Tanzania, Uganda, Mayotte, South Africa, and Zambia.
