It didn't worked most of the time.
I bought sim card on airport (Unitel-T) for my wife and it was ok. Esim from MTX used the same network, but didn't want to work.
DID NOT WORK... Threw my money away, couldn't get support. don't waste your time, effort and money, so disappointed. Plan expired and not a MB used.
I had a great experience using Esimzon Egypt eSIM. The data speed was fast and reliable, perfect for navigation and streaming and customer support is excellent specially Harry, recommend esimzon for anyone traveling to Egypt
trash took very long time to install and it has been 3g everywhere and only one carrier shown not 3 as they say
The SIM card been delivered upon some hours, so the service is reliable. The prices are good enough, and since the service is new, upon last review they been added support in messengers.
Very bad.
On advertising been mentioned 2 days unlimited for 0 USD for new signers. After you collect my data and sign up, price goes to 7 USD. . 👎
Service blocked and no refund
Bought a 30gb 30 day Esim for South Africa.
One week and 8 GB later, I go to bed. Wake up and there's no connection.
Complained to costumer service and they said my account has been blocked for misuse by the carrier. Overnight. While I slept.
They said they got in touch with them and would let me know the outcome.
I said I don't care about the outcome. I need my phone to work. So I buy an Esim from another company and asked for a refund. It's been 4 days.
I complained on Trustpilot, they answered asking for my details and never heard back.
Now this is my assumption of what's happening:
1. Airhub resells Vodafone UK eSIMs, but possibly without Vodafone’s full awareness of their intended use (i.e. roaming-only, global travel).
• Airhub is likely operating as a mobile virtual network enabler (MVNE) or reseller — meaning they bulk-buy access from Vodafone or a Vodafone-affiliated wholesaler.
• Vodafone UK may see your connection from abroad (e.g. South Africa) as suspicious or misuse, especially if it looks like permanent roaming or violates their “fair use” or “roaming abuse” policies.
2. Vodafone might have automatically blocked your line due to what it considers “abuse” (long-term roaming with no UK usage).
• Many carriers — especially in the EU and UK — have policies against continuous roaming without using the SIM domestically.
• If the system flags your usage as “not compliant” (i.e. you’re using a UK SIM exclusively outside the UK), it can trigger an automatic suspension.
3. Airhub is likely stalling because they don’t have control over Vodafone’s systems and may be worried about chargebacks, contract violations, or getting dropped as a reseller.
⸻
This theory supports my case because:
• I did nothing wrong — used a product sold as a “travel eSIM.”
• If Airhub is selling Vodafone eSIMs for global use without Vodafone’s systems recognizing it as such, that’s a reseller-side misconfiguration, not my fault.
• I am entitled to a refund regardless of their internal arrangement — they sold you something they couldn’t properly support.
Connects to 4g of Orange, but speed is very low, more like 2g. Not worth the money
Catastrophic experience with this operator.
Several eSIM changes due to failures in data speeds. Service was limited to 3G with speeds not even reaching Edge levels. The operator’s response: Even if the local network allows 5G (which I confirmed on another line) and good speeds, everything depends on our (terrible) agreements. Nothing can be done.
Of course, the website advertised 5G or 4G for Egypt, which turned out to be false (from Luxor to Aswan, which was my route).
Horrible. I wasted hours providing evidence, having to start over each time with different representatives.
I bought the Africa pack and I was in Liberia and Sierra Leone and didn't have connection after 3 days not for a single minute. Not able to solve it and asked for my money back. I am still waiting
It doesn't work ! On 2 phones… data roaming on, travel sim active for the internet. I do not recommend Airhub. iOS
fast service but esim is consuming data faster than expected. With my usual habits around 4 times faster.
I bought then another suggested by esimdb that was perfect.
Used Voye while traveling in africa, had bad experience regarding the roaming operators, connectivity, speed, etc, comparing to other travel companions that used other esims with similar prices.
This service is a joke and a lost of money lost. It is not working in Tunisia. 90% of the time is disconnect and useless. You can get 10GB from Orange, from the airport with 8 Euro, or 27GB for 12 Euro. Cheaper and working perfect. I contacted customer service for help or refund but they don't bother to help you. I received no replay. Don't get fooled by the owner that provide a review for every comment on this site. They really don't care about you, they care only in taking your money for nothing.
July 27, 2024 update: no reaction from customer service, no refund, they don't care!
I paid for esim 10gb now my phone samsung note 10 plus Is not compatible. So I lost the money.
Used the 7 days unlimited (1GB daily + 512kbps afterwards) plan. Was connected to Orange. Speeds slow even with LTE/5G almost all day even after 24hrs period. Messaging speed was good, sharing photos was slow but possible. Often got SSL errors, can't use banking apps at some times. Instead for the same money I recommend to buy 1 day plan and then physical sim or esim directly from Vodafone.
I definitely do not recommend it. They block you for no reason.
The eSIM never worked. Customer Service not responding. This is scam.
Everything is fine in Egypt. I had an ADB authentication problem, but it was promptly resolved in the chat. Of course, I had to connect to another network to resolve it. Otherwise, everything is fine.
Most of the time, did not connect to network. When it did, it was very slow. Disappointing.
in the app they write that i can connect to etisalat and Vodafone networks and when i buy the esim it's only connect to orange network, and the customer service wasn't friendly and they didn't help, bad experience
I bought an eSim for my 21 day vacation, it was a 30gb data plan. 4 days in my vacation and after using only 3.5gb the eSim stopped working out of nowhere. I sent an email to customer service, a message on their app and I tried to contact them any way possible. They take more than 24h hours sometimes 48 hours to answer back to their email. I even answered back to one of their emails 2 mins after they sent one to me and they took 24+ hours to answer back. After 5 days of waiting for them to fix the issue I had to buy another eSim from another company because I needed data to travel. They never figured out the issue and they never want to give me a refund. This was the worst customer service I ever experience! The eSim from AirHub didn't worked for the rest of the trip. NEVER BUY A eSIM FROM AIRHUB!! This is a scam!
Purchased an eSim from Global Yo advertised as $11 and that was the price in the shopping basked, but once I entered my credit card Global Yo charged 20$ on my credit card and sent an invoice in that amount.
There was never any warning that the price in basked was not the final price.
Worked for 1 day then stopped working eventhough validity is for 7 days and only 1gb used when I bought a 2 gb plan.
Hello, I bought an eSIM for the Seychelles and it's not working. They are unreachable on their help site! I had to send 6 or 7 messages without any response! They know how to cash in but not refund or send a new QR code to troubleshoot... absolutely terrible after-sales service 👎 don't go with them, total scam!! And one star because I'm obligated to give at least that. Real scammers! They don't refund anything on top of that.
I subscribed to the 50 GB package
But with a little use it turned out to be quite the trick
I have used 750 MB, this is what my phone shows in the usage history
But in their application it shows that I have consumed 1.5 GB
For your information, I tried two other applications and did not suffer from this problem at all
So I tried this application because the package price was good
But it turns out that it is fake and you will only get half
Even in Namibia's capital city of Windhoek, there is no Powercom signal. Purchasing a Namibian eSIM with Globalesim would be like throwing money into the trash.
I used a global eSIM. Provided by Vodafone UK . When I crossed the border from South Africa to Mozambique I was calling a number in South Africa when I was logged in to a Mozambican cell a got blocked right after that. A reactivation was not possible. No compensation nothing.
My card was charged but I did not receive the QR code - only a broken image link.

Terrible !!! Slowest data speed ever . Nothing could load . All apps not even starting .Waste of money
I bought two esims and one of them doesn't work. I tried to contact support via chat or ticket but was ignored. Strongly not recommended.
I will not use this eSIM provider any more, and wouldn’t recommend it. I bought 3GB for 14 days, but was able to use it only for 1 day, because Internet connection was not available even though all configuration was correct.
Did not work at all in the area around Victoria Falls.
Should also work i Zambia, but did not work there either.
But they where fast to refund. And did answer on email.
Awful. Did not work, settings verified but there was never any connection. Support is zero, no response ever received. E-Mail asking for refund ignored.
Do NOT purchase - they take your money and leave you out of contact and out of pocket. Deceitful and fraudulent.
Buyer beware, this company is awful. Purchased the ‘Special’ eSim for several countries explicitly listed on their website. The eSim did not work, they are refusing to refund the money.
We spent 3 nights and 4 days touring Morocco.
We stayed in Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabaㇳ, Fez, Chaweng, and Casablanca.
We had no connection at all except in the center of the city such as Marrakech and Casablanca. Fez and Siawen were no connection at all.
I was only able to use 152 MB in total.
Too bad.
Very bad. Got an unlimited daily plan but its actually not unlimited. Approach their support and they came back to say that its only unlimited for browsing, social networks and email with no limits.
Currently, eSIMDB lists over 60 travel eSIM brands offering service in Africa, with a substantial selection of over 1000 prepaid data plans available. This wide variety of options makes it easy for travelers to find an eSIM that suits their specific data requirements and budget.
Several providers offer unlimited data eSIM plans for use in Africa, including Truely, Roamify, Yoho Mobile, and Yesim. It’s important to note that these plans may have limitations such as speed throttling or a speed limit (like 5Mbps with some Yoho Mobile plans). Pricing for these unlimited plans generally ranges from approximately $10 to $450, depending on the provider and validity period chosen.
