Lotso Travel eSIM Data Plans for Balkans countries

Lotso Travel does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for the Balkans. All of its offerings for that region have a defined data allowance that is used at full speed for a specified number of days, after which the data rate is reduced to a low-speed threshold (typically 128 kbps). If you need high‑speed data for a longer period, you can choose one of Lotso Travel’s fixed data plans. For example, a 50 GB eSIM valid for 30 days is available, and a 30 GB eSIM valid for 30 days is also offered. These fixed plans can be more cost‑effective unless you are an extremely heavy data consumer.

Lotso Travel does not provide eSIMs with a phone number or SMS capability for the Balkans. Travelers can purchase a data‑only eSIM from this provider and use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage for voice and text communications over the data connection. Some local carriers or authorities may block or restrict access to specific VoIP services, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you need to use are available in the Balkans before making a purchase.

Lotso Travel offers several eSIM plans that include coverage in the Balkans. The “Global eSIM” plan covers Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia. A variant of the same “Global eSIM” plan covers Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, and Serbia. The “Global 2. Unlimited eSIM” plan covers Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, and Serbia. In all cases the plans also extend to additional regions worldwide, beyond the Balkans.
