RoamGo eSIM Data Plans for Balkans countries

RoamGo does not provide a true unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for the Balkans. Their “Global Unlimited” plans give either 1GB/day or 2GB/day of high‑speed data, after which data continues at a reduced speed of 384 kbps until the next midnight reset. This means there is still a hard cap on high‑speed usage.

Travelers who need large amounts of data can choose one of RoamGo’s fixed‑data options. For example, the “Balkans (5+ areas) 20GB 30Days” plan offers 20GB of high‑speed data for 30 days, and a comparable 20GB plan with 365‑day validity is also available. These fixed plans give a straightforward data allowance without the speed reduction that comes after the daily limit.

RoamGo does not provide a Balkans eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only plans from RoamGo for the Balkans. However, VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can usually be used over the data connection for voice and messaging, though some destinations may block or restrict certain apps, so it is advisable to confirm that the services you rely on are accessible in the Balkans before buying a plan.

RoamGo offers several eSIM plans that include the Balkans. The Europe (7 countries) plan covers Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia. The Global plan covers Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo. The Global · Discover plan covers the same set of Balkan countries. The Global139 plan also covers Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo. The Global · Discover+ plan likewise covers Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo. Finally, the Global Unlimited /day plan includes Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo.
