aloSIM eSIM Data Plans for Central America

aloSIM does not offer an unlimited data eSIM for Central America. All of its Central America plans are fixed data plans with data caps of 20GB, 10GB, or 5GB, each valid for 30 days. These fixed data plans may be more cost‑effective for most travelers, especially those who do not need unlimited data. For example, the 20GB plan is priced at $47.50 USD and the 10GB plan at $39.50 USD, both providing 5G coverage in Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and El Salvador.

aloSIM does not provide Central America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only options from aloSIM for Central America. However, callers can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection for communication, though some destinations may block or restrict access to specific apps or VoIP services, so verification is recommended.

aloSIM offers two plans that include Central American coverage. The “Central America” plan covers Costa Rica, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, and Honduras and extends service additionally to Guatemala and Mexico. The “Global” plan lists the same five Central American countries in its coverage while providing service worldwide, encompassing many regions beyond Central America.
