Instabridge eSIM Data Plans for Central America

Instabridge does not provide any unlimited data eSIM plans for Central America. All of its Central American offerings have fixed data caps, such as 20 GB, 10 GB, or 3 GB.
Fixed‑data plans are available for 7 days or 30 days, with example options including a 20 GB plan that covers Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador, and Nicaragua for 7 days at $68 USD; a 20 GB LATAM plan that covers the same plus Honduras and Nicaragua for 7 days at $140 USD; a 10 GB plan for 30 days at $50 USD; a 10 GB LATAM plan for 30 days at $75 USD; and a 3 GB plan for 15 days at $20 USD. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective unless a user requires an extremely heavy data allowance.

Instabridge does not offer a Central America eSIM that includes a phone number and SMS capability. The provider’s eSIMs in this region are data‑only plans, so travelers can use the internet for browsing and datacentric services but will not receive a local phone number for voice or SMS usage.

Instead, travelers can rely on popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage to make calls and send messages over the data connection. These apps allow communication without a dedicated phone number or SMS support.

Instabridge provides two plans that cover Central American destinations. The GLOBAL eSIM Mobile Data Plan is available in Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador and Nicaragua, while the LATAM eSIM Mobile Data Plan covers Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Honduras and Nicaragua. Together, these plans include all five Central American countries in the approved list.
