LATAM Travellers eSIM Data Plans for Central America

LATAM Travellers does not currently sell an unlimited data eSIM plan for Central America. All of the available Central American eSIMs feature fixed data allowances, such as the 10 GB / 30 days plan or the 5 GB / 30 days plan. These fixed‑data options cover Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, El Salvador and an additional 15 countries.

Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer. The 10 GB / 30 days plan, for example, offers a sizable amount of data at a competitive price, while the 5 GB / 30 days plan provides a lower‑cost alternative for lighter usage.

LATAM Travellers does not provide Central America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM options are available for Central America. Travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages without a local phone number.

LATAM Travellers offers the Latin America eSIM plan, covering Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama in Central America; the same plan also extends coverage to regions beyond Central America.
