MTX Connect eSIM Data Plans for Central America

MTX Connect does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for Central America. Travelers can instead choose from fixed‑data plans, such as the 10 GB plan valid for 30 days at $35.20 USD or the 4 GB plan valid for 14 days at $17.60 USD. These fixed plans give a predictable amount of high‑speed data and may be more cost effective unless the user needs very heavy data usage that would exceed the allotted amount.

MTX Connect does not provide Central America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS. The provider only offers data‑only eSIMs for this destination.

For travelers who still need voice or messaging, popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage can be used over the data connection, enabling calls and text messaging without requiring a local phone number.

MTX Connect’s eSIM offering includes the OPTIMAL DAILY plan, which provides coverage across Central America in the countries of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Nicaragua and Honduras. While this plan also extends to numerous other regions worldwide, its Central American coverage is limited to the five countries listed above.
