MTX Connect eSIM Data Plans for Central America

MTX Connect does not have an unlimited data eSIM plan for Central America.
Instead, it offers fixed‑data plans that cover the countries in the region. Popular options include a 10 GB plan valid for 30 days priced at $34.56 USD, a 4 GB plan for 14 days at $17.28 USD, and a 2 GB plan for 7 days at $10.37 USD. Fixed data plans can be more cost effective unless a traveler requires very high data consumption.

MTX Connect does not provide Central America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS. The provider only offers data‑only eSIMs for this destination.

For travelers who still need voice or messaging, popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage can be used over the data connection, enabling calls and text messaging without requiring a local phone number.

MTX Connect’s eSIM offering includes the OPTIMAL DAILY plan, which provides coverage across Central America in the countries of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Nicaragua and Honduras. While this plan also extends to numerous other regions worldwide, its Central American coverage is limited to the five countries listed above.
