MTX Connect eSIM Data Plans for Central America

MTX Connect does not provide any unlimited data eSIM plans for Central America. Travelers can only choose from fixed data packages that are available for the region. Examples include a 10GB plan that is valid for 30 days and costs $35.02 USD, a 4GB plan for 14 days priced at $17.51 USD, a 2GB plan lasting 7 days with a price of $10.51 USD, and a 350MB daily plan costing $4.07 USD. Selecting one of these fixed‑data options may be more economical for most users unless extremely heavy data usage is anticipated.

MTX Connect does not provide Central America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS. The provider only offers data‑only eSIMs for this destination.

For travelers who still need voice or messaging, popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage can be used over the data connection, enabling calls and text messaging without requiring a local phone number.

MTX Connect’s eSIM offering includes the OPTIMAL DAILY plan, which provides coverage across Central America in the countries of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Nicaragua and Honduras. While this plan also extends to numerous other regions worldwide, its Central American coverage is limited to the five countries listed above.
