MyTravel eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Central America

MyTravel eSIM does not provide any unlimited data eSIM plans for Central America. All plans sold for this region have a fixed data allowance. For example, the South America 3GB 15Days and 30Days plans give 3GB of high‑speed data for 15 or 30 days, respectively, and are priced at $33.09 and $33.80 USD. Another option is the Global (120+ areas) 2GB/Day plan, which offers 2GB of data each day for $17.65 USD.

Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, unless the user requires an extremely heavy data capacity. These plans are valid for the Central America countries covered by MyTravel eSIM, including Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and El Salvador, along with many additional nations.

MyTravel eSIM does not offer Central America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The available plans are data‑only, and travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which operate over data connections, to make calls and send messages.

MyTravel eSIM offers three plans that include Central American coverage. The Global (120+ areas)/Day plan, the South America plan, and the Global139 plan all cover Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Nicaragua, and Honduras. In addition to these Central American countries, each of those plans also covers regions outside the area, but the only countries within Central America that are guaranteed coverage are the five listed above.
