Simfinity eSIM Data Plans for Central America

Simfinity does not provide any unlimited‑data eSIM plan for Central America. All plans that cover Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and El Salvador have capped data allowances. Travelers who need larger data limits can choose from fixed‑data options such as the South America Pass with 25 GB and unlimited validity, or the eSIM: Latin America plan with 10 GB for 30 days. These capped plans are representative of the available offerings and can be more cost‑effective for most users, unless the traveler is an extremely heavy data consumer.

Simfinity does not provide Central America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. All Simfinity eSIM offerings for Central America are data‑only, meaning users receive a data allowance but no local phone number for voice calls or standard SMS. Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging without relying on a traditional phone number.

Simfinity offers two plans that cover all of the five Central American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Nicaragua and Honduras. The “eSIM: Latin America” plan includes these countries and also extends coverage to several countries in South America and the Caribbean. The “World Wide Pass” likewise includes Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Nicaragua and Honduras, while providing global coverage that reaches many additional countries across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
