abesteSIM eSIM Data Plans for East Asia

abesteSIM does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for East Asia. The provider’s plans are fixed data bundles, each with a hard data allowance that must be used within the stated validity period. For example, the “eSIM Asia+Europe 52 Regions – 1 Day / Unlimited 5Mbps” plan offers 1 GB of high‑speed data per day and throttles speed to 5000 kbps when the daily limit is reached, while the 50 GB plans for 3 to 15 days give a single 50 GB allotment with a reduced speed of 128 kbps after the limit.

Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, unless you need an exceptionally high amount of data that would exceed the available bundles. The 1 GB/day plans provide sufficient high‑speed connectivity for everyday use, and the 50 GB plans are suitable for longer stays or heavier data use within the validity window.

abesteSIM does not offer an East Asia eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available from this provider for East Asian destinations. Travelers who need to make voice calls or send texts can use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations in East Asia may block or restrict access to specific apps or VoIP services, so it is advisable to verify that the apps you rely on will be accessible before purchasing an eSIM from abesteSIM.

The abesteSIM plans that list East Asian coverage include eSIM Asia (10 Regions), eSIM Greater China, eSIM Asia+Europe 52 Regions, eSIM Global (66 Destinations), eSIM Asia (27 Regions, Support Tiktok), eSIM Global (108 Destinations), and eSIM Asia (14 Regions); each of these plans covers China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Macau, and Taiwan.
