eSIMCard eSIM Data Plans for East Asia

eSIMCard does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for East Asia. All plans that use the word “Unlimited” in their name actually include a 1 GB data cap per day or per plan, after which the speed is reduced to 500 kbps.

For travelers who need more data without throttling, eSIMCard offers fixed‑data plans such as the 100 GB eSIM for 90 days in Asia priced at $215.69 USD and the 100 GB eSIM for 180 days in Asia priced at $258.63 USD. These unlimited‑looking plans contain a large data allowance and no speed reduction, making them more economical for users who consume more than a few gigabytes.

eSIMCard does not provide East Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are offered for the region.

Travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging, which eliminates the need for a local phone number.
