Esimify eSIM Data Plans for East Asia

Esimify does not provide any unlimited data eSIM plan for East Asia. Every available plan is a fixed data bundle with a hard data cap listed in the Data cap column, such as the 20GB 30‑day plan, the 10GB 30‑day plan, the 5GB 30‑day plan, the 3GB 30‑day plan and the 1GB 7‑day plan.

These fixed data plans are the only options in East Asia. Travelers who need large data allowances can choose the 20GB 30‑day plan or the 10GB 30‑day plan, both offering 5G connectivity across China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and 14 additional countries. Fixed plans can be more cost‑effective for most users, but extremely heavy data consumers might prefer a different type of plan.

Esimify does not offer any East Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are available from this provider for the region. Travelers who need voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations in East Asia may block or restrict access to particular apps or VoIP services, so users should check that the apps they rely on are available in the specific countries they plan to visit before purchasing.

Esimify’s Asia (20 areas) plan covers China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan in East Asia. The same plan also includes coverage in other regions such as Bangladesh, Indonesia, India, Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, Laos, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Philippines, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam, but those are outside the East Asian scope.
