eSIMX does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for East Asia. The plans available for coverage of China, Japan, South Korea, Macau, Taiwan, and 14 additional countries all have fixed data caps, the largest of which is 15GB. A user can choose, for example, the Asia 15GB 7Days plan for 42.80 USD or the Asia 15GB 30Days plan for 48.80 USD, or opt for the smaller 8GB or 5GB options. Selecting a fixed‑data plan is generally more cost‑effective unless a traveler foresees extremely high data usage.

eSIMX does not provide any East Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. All eSIMX offerings for the region are data‑only plans, so travelers cannot receive or make traditional voice calls or texts with a local number. Instead, users can rely on internet‑based services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage, which work over the data connection for voice and messaging without needing a phone number.
