mobineX eSIM Data Plans for East Asia

MobineX does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for East Asia. The plans marked “Unlimited” in the catalogue actually include a capped data allowance: either 1GB or 5GB. When that limit is reached, the high‑speed data is throttled to a reduced rate—128 kbps for the Unlimited Standard and 1024 kbps for Unlimited Gold.
For travelers who need more data, MobineX offers several fixed‑data options. A 100GB plan valid for 60 days and a 50GB plan valid for 30 days are both available, each covering China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Macau, Taiwan and additional countries. These fixed data plans can be more economical for users with heavy data consumption.

mobineX does not provide East Asia eSIMs that include a phone number or SMS capability; the provider’s offerings are limited to data‑only plans.

For travelers who need voice or messaging, popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can be used over these data connections, allowing calls and texts without a traditional phone number.

The mobineX eSIM plans available for East Asia are all titled “Unlimited Standard”, and each of them covers the entire set of approved East Asian countries: China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and Mongolia.
